THE SPA FACILITIES WERE GOOD AND THE FOOD WAS DECENT

Bed comfy but don’t walk on carpet bare feet’s it dirty need wash,
Parking Avoid
Disability Avoid
Glad I only stayed for 1 night!, not a few,
I booked in advance I spoken to the hotel by mail, about a disabled old man need ground floor no stairs etc,
They promised me a room ground close to the main door easy access to the car,
Which we arrived all room is all out taken not available! The staff apologized and given us a room with steps! And other side of the building!,
They said I can come in the back door with the wheelchair, and drive back round to the front to park up, and walked 1mile to my room, leaving a disabled man age 75 alone for 15mins!,
Same again to the breakfast was good but getting to the bar the doors very strong to pull and to hold, if you’re on your own
The parking I have PAID £3 in a disabled space!,
For overnight stay!
1 week after this holiday
I have a £100 parking fine by Parkmaven company! I appeal which got rejected now I’m £100 out of pocket for no reason
Be careful
Just a very bumpy ride this place
Avoid getting STRESSED and for all the disability people and Elderly’s & the parking situation,
Pay extra for no reason for the room
Exceptionally clean spacious rooms and restaurants, quiet location, friendly helpful staff, nice clean sauna, steam room, etc. Brilliant traditional breakfast.
Some furniture is a bit tired
paiement du parking
I liked the size of the room and the breakfast had everything you needed and the bed was comfortable. The staff were always friendly and helpful. The use of the gym and the pool was great too.
I didn't like the shower head it was the old style and I couldn't just have a shower without washing my hair. The rooms were outdated, the furniture and the carpets and deco need upgrading. I didn't think it was fair for a customer in the hotel to pay for parking as this is a new introduction. I stayed for thirteen nights so it would have been an extra cost if I had had a car.
Access to facilities with ease
Helpful staff
Nice area
Hot rooms
Good comfortable hotel, just what we needed. Rooms very clean.
My truck broke down on the A66 and I was towed to Middlesbrough. I called the hotel to ask if I could put my fridge food in the kitchen and Danny said yes, so saving me 4 days of food going to waste. Had a great night watching football and had a nice meal and good night sleep. So thank you.
N/a
Room was accommodating (when accessible) breakfast was full filling. Bed was questionable.
The room was inadequate due to the access card malfunctioning and having to have it reset at reception desk several times. (Annoyed). Breakfast was served in the events room totally unsuitable ie small tables cold area. Beds are tired and well over their best (noisy springs)ie
Nothing
Thd room smelt
Thd decor was mend and make do
No privacy in the room as no nets
Good location
Room cleaned and towels changed once on the 3rd day of the stay, bed very uncomfortable
Pub on site, small park for kids, lots of parking (not free), swimming pool you can use in your stay. Fair price.
Our room was by reception and kids running up and down constantly and into very late night. Rowdy adults talking at top of their voices late at night and early in the morning. Doors seem to be really thin and dont block the noise at all. People also walk past the window in the room constantly so we felt we had to keep the curtains shut just for privacy or they can see you clearly in your room.
Paying for parking when it's the hotels own carpark is mad, they should include this in the room rate even if it raises the price slightly. Very basic and bathroom was in a bad state, needs a refurb. There's basic and theres unloved, this hotel was poorly cared for. Pool size great but the room is hot with no ventilation, and the steam room smelt like mold. Could be a great hotel but some major points spoil it.
