Five star resort with 5 star service and excellent staff.
Pros:

Beautiful modern hotel in lodge style design, nice big rooms and always clean and tidy.
The staff in areas of this hotel are extremely well trained and courteous. The restaurant staff are all fabulous and it would be unfair to mention any individual but can’t name them all, so a 5/5 for every single one of them.
My wife used the spa for 2 treatments and she thought it was excellent with very lovely professional staff.
We did two safari tours one by elephant and one by jeep., both were excellent and a special mention here for our guide Suki who was extremely knowledgeable and we were lucky to have him for both of excursions booked with the hotel.
I recommend staying at the Soaltee West End to anyone who wants top level service and care from arrival to departure.

Pros:

Basic hotel.

Cons:

First, it's a solid hour or more away from any Chitwan national park entrance or activity, so it's absolutely false advertising to call it a Chitwan national park based property.
Nothing anywhere near the hotel for miles.
Hotel's single restaurant is the only eating option and it's overpriced and mediocre food at best.
All in all a regrettable experience.
