Nubian Kingdom Aragheed House

The hotel was located on the West Bank but it was easy and cheap to get a public crossing to the East Bank. The ferry is only a 10 minute walk from the hote. The hotel is extremely quiet. The staff, namely Bassam, was exceptional and his English was perfect. I got everything I needed. The rooftop terrace is covered with sand and bohemian and cool. Bassam was always available with any questions or concerns on WhatsApp. My room was huge and comfortable. There is tremendous competition for rooms in Aswan as it is a tourist city but this hotel recognizes that tourists want exceptional value. I got exceptional value and more at Nubian Kingdom. There was also a coffee ceremony conducted while I was there which was complimentary and interesting.

I had an excellent experience with Bassam and his wonderful staff. A big shout out for Mohammad and his helper Mustafa who made amazing coffee in the traditional Nubian way, well worth the wait watching the process and and the taste was delicious. Thank you Bassam for organising our tours of Philae island and surrounds and the time on Lake Nasser. I look forward to, God willingly, to the all day trip on Lake Nasser, to see the Sunrise, food, storytelling of Nubian traditions and culture, music, visit to Temple of Kalabsha, (3.59pm purchase ticket0 and then on to see Sunset later in the year

Es hat uns so gut gefallen, dass wir spontan die letzten Tage unsere Urlaubs -mehr als gerne…- hier verbracht haben! Den bereits erfolgten Rezessionen bzgl. Ausstattung, Sauberkeit, Gemütlichkeit & Frühstück/ (Familien-) Essen ist wenig hinzuzufügen. Es ist alles TOP, die Preise transparent & absolut fair, individuelle Bedürfnisse werden wahrgenommen und -wenn möglich- erfüllt. Insbesondere das abendliche (Familien-) Essen war ein kulinarischer Traum und man möchte am Liebsten sofort einen Kochkurs bei Bassams Tante belegen… :)
Hervorheben möchten wir gerne die absolut besondere Atmosphäre des Hauses! Bassam & sein Team sind musikbegeisterte Menschen, mit einem positiven Blick auf die Welt im Allgemeinen wie im Besonderen. Gastfreundlichkeit wird gelebt und ein echtes Interesse an Menschen, verschiedenen Kulturen, Lebensgeschichten & (Welt-) Musik ist die beeindruckende Basis dieses Guesthouses. Eine klare Empfehlung und wir freuen uns auf ein nächstes Mal!!

Bassam is the best host ever, extremely helpful with a big knowledge about Nubian history, always smiling and joking! I met him by chance in Luxor. He does everything to make his guests feel as an authentic Nubian. 
Nubian Kingdom Aragheed House is a beautiful decorated paradise with a great view from the roof top terrace on Mount Abu Qubbet el-Hawa.... 
Its very close to the ferry pier. Some small shops are also around.
You can choose cosy clean rooms or even tents under a roof. Bassam provides a typical Nubian breakfast and on order a very delicious dinner cooked by his aunty. In the evening Zoun was preparing an awesome coffee. Its a wonderful ceremony watching him how he is roasting coffee seed, matches ginger and mixes for a tasty coffee. Sometimes musicans are playing and singing. Soooo nice!!! There is a lot of space to relax, on the roof, in the atrium, outside. 
You can walk along the Nile through green fields, directly or by camel or dunky to the tombs, and if Bassam has time, ask him to do a trip in his boat to Philae, on the Nasser Lake for visitig temple Kalabscha, Bet el-Wali and enjoying sunset. He is organizing tours and everthing you need with enthusiasm. Many thanks for Bassam, for his helpful staff, Mahmut and all the other boys, also for his both nieces and especially for his aunt.

You have to stay some days, there is a lot to do,
enjoy  Nubian Kingdom Aragheed guest house on the fullest. 

조용하고 멋진 곳입니다. 여기는 때묻지 않은 곳이라 순박하고 친절합니다. 조식도 훌륭하고 오렌지를 마음껏 짜먹었어요. 저녁엔 동네 친구들이 모여서 연주도 하고 누비안 커피를 주던데 넘 신기하고 맛있었어요. 감사합니다.

Das ist der schönste, gastfreundlichste und sympathischste Ort in Assuan. Chillen, sich austauschen, Gemeinschaft erleben, super, essen ....

Мне настолько понравилось здесь, что я решил остановиться в гостинице «Дом Арахид Нубийского королевства» до конца моего пребывания в Египте 😎

Это была самая вайбовая гостиница, в которой я когда-либо останавливался. И это место безусловно заслуживает 9,9 на Booking.com. Я даже не знаю, с чего начать. Начну, пожалуй, с того, что парни, которые работают там (прошу прощения, что не запомнил всех имён) - отличные ребята, я приехал как гость, а уехал, как друг. Сама гостиница «Дом Арахид Нубийского Королевства» имеет прекрасное расположение. До парома, откуда можно добраться до центра Асуана, а также до лавок и уличной еды идти 5 минут максимум. Также там имеется потрясающая терраса, с множеством растений, откуда открывается потрясающий вид на Нил и пустыню. Ребята наливают птичкам воду, так что постоянно на террасу прилетают птицы, большие и маленькие :) Помимо потрясающего свежего египетского завтрака, который входит в стоимость, в стоимость также входит безлимитная вода и ЛУЧШИЙ В МОЕЙ ЖИЗНИ СВЕЖЕВЫЖАТЫЙ АПЕЛЬСИНОВЫЙ СОК, который можно самому 24/7 готовить из свежих апельсинов, которые растут прям здесь!!! Я даже не знаю, сколько литров этого Божественного напитка я выпил… Комната, в которой я жил, была идеально чистой, как и все места общего пользования. Ребята постоянно следят за порядком. Само здание очень красивое, стильное и выполнено в традиционном стиле! А ещё один раз я попал на традиционное нубийское кофепитие с музыкой. После очень активного снорклинга и исследования руин древних цивилизаций в Хургаде и Каире в этом месте я смог наконец расслабиться, выспаться, насладиться моментом и словить дзен. Я очень хочу вернуться.

따뜻한 분위기, 정성 어린 환영에 감동받았습니다. 청결하게 시설이었으며 누비안식 식사에 행복했습니다. West bank에 있어서 east.bank와는 달리 아주 조용히 시간을 보냈습니다. 방도 식사하는 공간도 모두 가족처럼 대해주셔서 감사합니다.

Amazing location and staff - what an incredible experience to see Aswan and Nubia. I’ve travelled three times now to Aswan and this was by far the best stay. Hands down the best host and welcoming environment that we’ve come across during our travels. A must if you visit the area!

-アスワンの西岸の船着場から数分歩いた場所にあり、ヌビア建築様式の雰囲気抜群の宿。朝は美味しいヌビア料理が食べられる。生オレンジジュース搾り放題。お茶やヌビアンコーヒー飲み放題。
-夜にヌビア音楽のセッションがある。いつもは宿のルーフトップでこじんまり演奏しているようですが、大晦日に滞在したため庭の小ホールで年越しライブがあって、それはもう最高だった。
-宿の人たちが大らかで鷹揚なお人柄で、細かいことは気にせず自由でのんびりしている。兄貴と呼びたくなる感じ笑。みんな適度に放っておいてくれるが、whatappで必要なことはお願いできる。
-バスタブとドライヤーがある。水の調節はコツが必要。
-西岸への船着場とアスワン鉄道駅が近い。スークへもすぐ行ける。渡し船はローカルは無料だが観光客は10-20egpだそう。払った時と払わなくても良い時があった。

アスワンはアブシンベルとイシス神殿を見たらすぐに次の町に移動する旅行者がほとんどですが、のんびりした時が流れる良い感じの町です。市街地はローカルと観光客が入り混じってて過ごしやすく、スークも面白かった。この宿は共用部のルーフトップが居心地良かったので、2泊以上してゆったり過ごすのを推奨します。
