Bed uncomfortable. Not as clean as it sb.
Though there was an eclectic group of people, everyone was friendly.
This is not a hotel; it is more like a half-way house. We were the only overnighters, most were there for long periods of time. Smoking was not allowed in the building but residents smoked incessantly on the patio. The pool had a greenish tinge. There is no off street parking.

The house was very comfortable and felt like more of a home setting with private rooms. The host Philippe made everyone feel extremely welcome, and was generous with his time, advice, assistance and hospitality.
A short distance out of Tucson but free parking at the property and a bus stop direct to the centre right outside.
Quiet, lots of plants/flowers, a quite extensive library, most relaxing. Philippe is a joy of a host.

The location was very good, a very quiet abode.
No AC. I did not need AC but in the summer, it would definitely be needed.
The room was cute and had character. Check in was straightforward and property owner was friendly.
The property had a pest problem. I saw cockroaches both in the room and along the hallway leading to the room. Another tenant mentioned their room had fleas recently. While the furnishings were fine, I was uncomfortable with the potential to carry the pests in my luggage on my return trip.

Scheduling room cleaning
My family and I had our own beds.
It was noisy and there was a dog loose in the house. When we got there the room wasn't ready and no one contacted me to let me know that the room wasn't going to be ready at check in time. There were people talking outside the room loudly at night and there we're no extra blankets provided.
This was a room in a private residence otherwise inhabited by boarders. No privacy. The bathroom was shared with a neighbor. Very deceptive listing.
