Pros:

The hotel is an oasis in the middle of Kandy. The rooms are specious and very comfortable. It's a bit outside of the city center, but very easy to reach by tuktuk. The property is very green and luscious and it was great to take a swim in the pool during the hot days.

Colonial Charm with modern convenience.
Pros:

We loved feeling like we were at home. The beautiful gardens, the comfortable lounge area, the superb room and the refreshing pool. Such a gem of a hotel. We ate in every night, it was so relaxing and the food was always delicious. The hosts were very friendly and helpful. The beautifully restored house originally belonged to the owner’s grandparents. It has been tastefully renovated with modern convenience such as ac and ensuites but still has the charm of yesteryear.

Cons:

There is nothing to dislike. I didn’t want to leave.

Voyage dans le temps et personnel aux petits soins
Pros:

La bâtisse de style colonial historique mais avec tout le confort moderne, le jardin comme véritable havre de paix, bien ombragé, avec la piscine en bonus. Chambre propre, équipée de climatisation et qui a tout ce qu’il faut. Personnel aux petits soins et d’une extrême gentillesse. Nous avons eu la chance de rencontrer le propriétaire qui nous a expliqué l’histoire familiale du lieu et qui a été de parfait conseil pour le reste de notre voyage à Kandy et dans le pays. Nous avons dîné dans le jardin un riz et curry vraiment splendide, et le matin un petit déjeuner impeccable au bord de la piscine. Je recommande vivement, allez y les yeux fermés.

Cons:

Tout était vraiment très bien. Légèrement excentré par rapport au centre ville, mais ce n’est vraiment pas un problème, un coup de Tuktuk et en cinq minutes vous êtes arrivé.

Beautiful building, very nice furniture, very green oasis in the middle of the city

Cons:

There was no information or tour of the house provided, there are no windows only shutters, which means we had lots of mosquitoes and some cockroaches in the room which was uncomfortable

enklawa zieleni w środku miasta, czysto, bardzo dobre śniadania, można też zjeść póżniej na miejscu, czysty basen, choć woda w nim dość zimna, piękny ogród, bardzo miłe panie z obsługi, słodki kotek i bardzo przystojny pan gospodarz :)

is beautiful, very clean and offers all the comforts you need. There are many trees around and you really feel like you are surrounded by nature, which makes the stay very relaxing. The pool is the perfect addition to the relaxed vibe. The staff is kind, friendly and always ready to help. The owner is very welcoming and clearly cares about the guests and their experience. A perfect place that combines comfort, tranquility and hospitality. I highly recommend it!” 🌿🏡

Overall an excellent stay and would recommend
Pros:

Very beautiful colonial bungalow in a lush garden, staff were excellent, all smiles and accommodating. Room was clean, spacious and the bathroom was beautiful.

Cons:

Only gripe was the hot water ran out fast by the time we wanted to fill up the bathtub, so we couldn’t soak in it like we wanted to. Location was not too far from the Kandy centre but can get some heavy traffic in the afternoon.

Prachtig huis met lief personeel

Het personeel is erg vriendelijk en wil je met alles helpen. Het huis is ook prachtig met een fijn zwembad.

Cons:

Wel zit je aan een drukke weg en zijn leuke restaurants wat verder weg, maar het eten in de Boutique is wel erg lekker

Als Familie mit zwei Jugendlichen hatten wir die Unterkunft in einem extra Gebäude. Es war super eingerichtet, bot viel Platz und bot einen tollen Blick. Das Personal war sehr freundlich und bemüht unsere Wünsche umzusetzen.
