The owner was so kind

I asked for breakfast, he asked for price per person which is against the booking details. However, the owner is so kind, he was helpful

Pros:

Struttura a 15min a piedi dal centro, situata sopra la città. Tutto molto pulito e lo staff super cordiale, specialmente il Driver Sagara che si è rilevato una piacevole scoperta: molto preparato e cordiale con una guida prudente. Ci ha accompagnati da Kandy a Nanuoya (dove abbiamo preso il treno panoramico) fermandosi nei principali punti di interesse.

Cosy Room in Kandy
Pros:

Lovely view from dining room overlooking the Lake in Kandy. Good hosts, great breakfast of fruit, yogurt, scambled eggs, toast and tea/coffee. There is a shortcut by stairs down the side of the building to some restuarants closer to the lake.

Cons:

A little bit away from the main area of town and any shops. The bedroom and bathroom are both quite small (the shower is not separate in bathroom) but managable for a couple of nights.

Pros:

Fijne, schone, kamer, met airco. Personeel wat zeer behulpzaam is. Heerlijk ontbijt met prachtig uitzicht. Via het hotel kun je een gids regelen om met de Tuktuk alle hoogtepunten van Kandy te bezoeken. Danu is een geweldige, vriendelijke gids, zeker aan te raden.

Cons:

Enige kleine minpuntje: douchekop was niet aan de muur bevestigd waardoor je hem vast moet houden, haakje hiervoor was fijn geweest.

Kahvaltısı güzeldi ama hep aynı şeyleri veriyorlar 2 gün kaldığımız için sorun olmadı. Çalışanlar çok güleryüzlüydü.

Cons:

Odayı temizlememişlerdi, akşam odaya döndüğümüzde çok şaşırdık. Yatak dağınık yerler silinmemiş.. İlk defa böyle bir otelde kalıyoruz. Fotoğraflara ve yorumlara bakarak bu odayı tutmuştuk bizim için hayal kırıklığı oldu. Odayı değiştirmek istedik. Kabul etmediler. Odamız hiç güzel değildi özellikle banyomuz... Fotoğrafları yüklediğimde ne demek istediğimi anlayacaksınız.. Beğenen kişiler neyi beğendiler anlamadım.

Spotlessly clean, great views & breakfast, fantastic value for money
Pros:

A lovely hotel, we had 3 room, one double with balcony and lake view and two other doubles . The staff were friendly, the property was spotless, a nice homely feel and great breakfast, drinks, yoghurt & fruit, toast, scrambled eggs very nice.

Cons:

One of the rooms there was no overhead shower just a spray. Due to the hills the location was further from town than we thought to walk but that is due to our lack of knowledge not the hotels issue. Tuk tuks on uber super cheap so not an issue do not let it put you off as with the hill elevation you get great views and the hotel has a nice shared area to sit out on the balcony and enjoy the lake view. So it not really a negative just to be aware. Don’t let it out you off would highly recommend. Great value .

Great view close to lake. Very clean with compfortable beds. Fantastic breakfast and very helpful host who arranged tuktuk tour and transfer to Sigiriya with great driver and guide Dahnu. Thanks for a great stay.

Pros:

Great hotel! The rooms are amazing, the view too, and the breakfasts are excellent! The staff is very kind, and we highly recommend the tuk-tuk/taxi driver Mishel! He is a fantastic guide who took us to incredible places and always took the time to make sure we had the best experience possible. If you have the chance to spend a day with him, do it! Thank you very much.

Traumhaft, der beste Platz unserer wunderbaren Reise

Es war die schönste Unterkunft unserer Sri Lanka-Reise. Die Lage ist traumhaft, wunderschöne Aussicht, sehr ruhig und trotzdem ist man in 5 min zu Fuß am See.
Wir waren bereits vor 24 Jahren dort und es ist noch schöner als damals. Das Zimmer ist unglaublich toll mit seinem Blick auf den See, seiner liebevoll gestalteten Einrichtung, super sauber, alles funktioniert bestens und zusätzlich gibt es eine große Terrasse mit einem wunderschönen Blick auf den See, ideal zum Entspannen nach einem Sightseeingtag.
Die Gastgeber sind heute wie damals extrem freundlich, hilfsbereit, immer da, wenn man was braucht. Und das Essen ist himmlisch.
Wir bekamen jeden Abend andere Kreationen von Rice and Curry, eine kulinarisch unglaubliche Vielfalt.
Sie hatten auch überaus gute Tipps und haben uns einen total netten Tuktukfahrer vermittelt, der uns ganz tolle Plätze gezeigt hat.
Es gibt nichts Besseres in Kandy.

Pros:

We loved this hotel. The staff were so nice and the room was clean, comfortable and had the most amazing view of town. It was fun to watch the monkeys jump around on the rooftops-but be careful! One of the little guys broke into our room because we thought we had locked the balcony door but hadn't quite latched it correctly. I would highly recommend this hotel.
