Great views over Kandy, and located away from the noise of the city. Our hostess was very helpful, and interesting to talk to.

Das beste Homestay bisher auf unserer Reise durch Sei Lanka. Wirklich ein Traum. Super nette Host-Dame, leckeres Frühstück, viel Platz auch für Sport und Erholung, super Ausblick von der Terrasse. Lage passt auch :)

We had a truly wonderful stay at this homestay in Kandy. The host mother is such a kind and warm-hearted person. From the very first moment, she made us feel incredibly welcome.
She was always friendly, helpful, and genuinely caring. Whether it was giving us tips, helping with arrangements, or simply sharing a smile and a few words, she made our stay very special. You can really feel that she hosts from the heart.
The room itself was simple but it was clean and perfectly fine for what we needed. And honestly, the atmosphere and hospitality made everything so much more meaningful. For the price, it was absolutely worth it.
This place offers more than just accommodation – it offers warmth, kindness, and a real glimpse into Sri Lankan hospitality.
We would happily stay here again 🤍✨

wifi was a bit hit and miss but it’s like that throughout sri lanka, get off your phone and read a book in front of the view :)
The view from the house overlooking the town and the hills is spectacular. Chintha prepared a lovely breakfast with lots of delicious fruit. We did not have dinner as we dined out in town. Chintha was a caring host and repaired my friend's bag on her sewing machine. Her two dogs, street pickups, are also nice company.
The house is on a steep hill and not easily accessible to the town, but Chintha always helps in getting a tuktuk.

Łóżko bardzo skrzypiało czuć było deski jak się spało, spłuczka też bardzo ciężko działała trzeba było się napracować żeby spłukać wodę.

The house is based on a beautiful location up the hill overlooking the city. The lady of the house is a kind woman, happy to help you with anything you need. She has a tuktuk driver that can take you to different places to explore town for a very reasonable price (much better than the drivers you find in town). Great stay for a small price, could not recommend better!
It was my repeated stay at Holiday Stay Inn. Love this stunning view over the whole city of Kandi from the terrace. Felling of home and house dog. Villa designed with a good taste. The owner nice lady treated us as a mother, cooked for us a home food dinner which we loved so much. After the long trip it was so touching all this courtesy. Definitely will come again if we have any chance to visit Kandi again

We stayed for 2 nights and this place was perfect, especially the balcony that must have one of the best views in Kandy. The breakfast was so good, and the dogs were very sweet (although one was barking every time someone came past on the road, however this was not too much as it’s a dead end). The climb was also not as bad as we expected, although the tuktuks didn’t like going the whole way to the flat.
Tuktuks didn’t like dropping off at the top of the hill, although pickups were ok in normal cars. Also the dog barking was not ideal in the twin room that faces the road
