From the moment I arrived, I felt at home. The hosts were beyond amazing—extremely friendly, welcoming, and attentive. They went above and beyond to make my stay perfect. They were so accommodating and ensured I could check in early without any issues. When I contacted them upon arrival, they came over right away to make sure everything was smooth—such thoughtful and caring service!
They made sure I was comfortable, provided great recommendations, and always checked in to ensure I was having the best experience. They were so social and engaging, always starting conversations and creating meaningful connections that made the stay feel truly special.
The space itself was fantastic. My room was spacious and super comfortable, and the entire place had such a cozy, homey vibe. The common area and patio were beautifully set up, perfect for relaxing and enjoying the atmosphere. Plus, there’s an incredible tea house just across the street that’s definitely worth checking out—such a gem!
Everything about my stay felt thoughtful, warm, and personal. I couldn’t have asked for a better experience—highly recommend!
Friendly and generous hosts and ideal location for the taitung balloon festival
The owners were really wonderful. They didn’t speak much English but they tried hard to communicate and they went out of their way to help us with our questions about venues and helped to arrange transportation for us. The shared space is very pleasant and a nice place to eat and chat.
Room was tight and the bathroom had a very low ceiling. It was clean and nicely maintained, but if one was taller it could be a challenge.
The location was a bit further to walk to from the train station.

Owner couple was very engaging and helpful to make us feel warmly welcomed. Everything was well decorated with thoughtful usability. We stayed in a room with hot air balloon wall art, paintings and little room decorations. Homely and comfortable ambience at the lounge for breakfast or any food that you can bring in. Lounge music and environment was great to do reading or have tea/coffee. Convenient location to take bus to town/ train or Luye highland. Near many spots of interest to cycle around. Opposite tea cafe/ shop is also interesting to visit with very friendly staff. They sell insanely sweet pineapples too.
Only thing which I am not used to is the hard bed and flat pillow. Seems to be common in Taiwan countryside.
