the owners who lived in the property were friendly helpful and unobtrusive very pleasant location convenient for local shops and tram to central Antwerp very safe
beds could be wider and up dated mattresses trams stop running to area around midnight therefore limiting time in centre before paying for cab hot drinks facilities a bit limited

Easy to get into city, lovely hosts. Cute place with farm animals and a pool.
Lots of mosquitos in the room, small hole in the window letting them in. Easy to plug with a sock once you find it.
I liked the location. Everything was clean.
The room had a tv and a little desk to work a bit.

I didn't really know I would be staying with the owner there. This was not really clear to me and first thing was to take my shoes of and wear their slippers and passing through their living room to get to my room which felt a bit unconfortoble to me.
So untill around 1:00 o' clock there was someone still watching tv. I also felt a bit unconfortable walking to the bathroom shared bathroom.
The bed was actually really bad quality. In the middle of the bed there is some hard uncomfortable part. For this price per night at least a good quality bed would expected. So that would really be a good improvement if you would replace that.
Maybe for some people it is okay and nice to stay with a family or host like this, but if I knew this before I wouldn't have booked this. For a few euro's more I could have stayed in a hotel in the center of Antwerp and would have had a bit more privacy. All this felt a bit more like I was visiting friends or family where I shouldn't be expecting too much.
Just one more tip about the dogs... I'm not scared of them and they were not really bothering me. While I was signing the mandatory formalities the dogs were hanging around me and sniffing me. I can imagine other people really don't like dogs or are even scared of them... I would make sure to keep them a bit on a distant.
Anyway the day before I had a quite rough night and I really needed a bit more quiet/private place so this was not really the place for me.
Good value for money and good facilities for cooking breakfast and supper. Friendly and helpful hosts too.
