Cute little family-owned homestay with very caring, lovely people and amazing food. :)
Pros:

Very friendly and lovely mother & son duo. The son picked us up from the bus station and provided us all the information we needed for a nice stay. The room was very clean and decorated with a lot of attention to detail. Hot shower. :) we had an amazing dinner homecooked by the mother, probably the best food we had at a homestay so far! Breakfast was very delicious too with a lot of variety. Thank you so much for having us!

Ps: the famous mother’s leap waterfall is just a short beautiful hike (25 min) away from the cabana! :)

Cons:

In case you need it: there’s no mosquito net. We didn’t mind it since there didn’t seem to be a lot of mosquitoes around.

Pros:

I was made to feel very welcome by Kumari who is an example of a good human being. On arrival I was given a coffee and this level of hospitality continued. I had dinner each night which was local food and it was absolutely lovely. The kindness and warmth I felt here was exceptional. It was for these reasons I didn't want to leave. I recommend this property. It is a short tuk tuk journey into town. Thanks for such a memorable stay ❤️

Pros:

Ci siamo trovati benissimo. Struttura molto bella, arredata con personalità, poco lontana dal centro (raggiungibile in Tuk tuk).
È gestita da mamma e figlio, molto accoglienti e disponibili. Non ci hanno fatto mancare nulla.
Consiglio di raggiungere le cascate vicine. Assolutamente da provare la cooking class con la mamma, un'occasione unica per imparare a preparare il cibo singalese più autentico. Nonostante non parlasse bene inglese, sono state delle ore molto significative in termini positivi per il mio viaggio.
Il figlio il giorno dopo si è assicurato che riuscissimo a comprare i biglietti del treno per Ella, accompagnandoci alla stazione.

Pros:

Super lieve mensen, heerlijk eten en ze zorgen dat je gebracht wordt naar plekken die je wilt bezoeken.
Achter het huis is Lovers leap waterval dus die kan je lopend doen.

Cons:

Wifi was iets minder goed.

Nuit agréable en compagnie d’un personnel extraordinaire.
Pros:

Personnel très sympathique et adorable.
Beaucoup de belles attentions à notre égard à commencer par l’accueil.
L’hôte propose un tour dans Eliya (visite d’une usine de thé, bâtiments britanniques …)
Le logement est très mignon et a un charme avec ces structures en bois et ces décorations.

Pros:

Pour l'instant la meilleure guesthouse où nous avons dormi la gérante (Kumari) et sont fils ont le sens de l'accueil. Nous avons été reçus chaleureusement comme si nous étions leurs invités
Le chalet en bois est très confortable et propre.
Le dîner est de loin le meilleur et le plus authentique que nous ayons mangé

Die Cabin ist ganz niedlich und der Gastgeber freundlich!

Cons:

Leider hat uns das Bett mit den jeweiligen Decken und Kissen nicht überzeugt. Es gab kein richtiges Bettlaken und die Decke hat sich ständig verschoben, sodass man auf der Matraze lag. Ich denke das Frühstück sollte lieber vor der Hütte stattfinden, da der Raum im Haus etwas trist und dunkel ist.

Cabana wood, une excellente adresse
Pros:

La gentillesse, la disponibilité et la qualité de l'accueil de la propriétaire et de son fils.
Nourriture excellente (petit déjeuner inclus et dîner en ce qui nous concerne).
Possibilité aussi de faire une demi journée ou une journée de découverte de Nuwara et des environs avec le fils à un tarif intéressant (avec de nombreuses informations).
