Quiet Property off the main roads with friendly proprietors and a sweet cat; a five minute walk to either road Junction outside the gated community for the usual food stamps, I made my own way there on foot and with buses and the proprietor sent helpful messages

I stayed here for two nights after my flight in from the UK. I wasn't interested in visiting the beaches so the location relatively near the airport was good for me. I took the accommodation's offer of an airport pickup. The host and other guests were very friendly and helpful. When I left I was able to get a local bus into town to the ADO terminal no problem.
During the one full day I had here I walked in towards the centre (not all the way) and did some shopping for a SIM card. Nothing too exciting but it was a good way to start to feel comfortable with being in a foreign country.
The area is a bit dull but I didn't really expect anything different. It felt safe enough. It does at least feel like you are really in Mexico, not just in a beach resort which could be almost anywhere.
Location is very close to retailers and grocery stores, and is located in a safe neighborhood.
