I stayed here for two nights after my flight in from the UK. I wasn't interested in visiting the beaches so the location relatively near the airport was good for me. I took the accommodation's offer of an airport pickup. The host and other guests were very friendly and helpful. When I left I was able to get a local bus into town to the ADO terminal no problem.
During the one full day I had here I walked in towards the centre (not all the way) and did some shopping for a SIM card. Nothing too exciting but it was a good way to start to feel comfortable with being in a foreign country.
The area is a bit dull but I didn't really expect anything different. It felt safe enough. It does at least feel like you are really in Mexico, not just in a beach resort which could be almost anywhere.
Location is very close to retailers and grocery stores, and is located in a safe neighborhood.

I stayed here in the December of 2024 during my trip to Mexico. The place is nice and the price is very good for the separate room. The owner is friendly. There is a washing machine in the property. There are big supermarkets nearby. Overall for this price the place is nice.

Really far outside of Cancun, cats everywhere and also smells because of it, my husband is allergic so sneezed a lot.

Bedroom was clean. Parking available. Good bakery round the corner near the petrol station.
House was dirty, kitchen advertised not usable due to mess. No toilet paper. No Internet details provided. We arrived late and left early so fine for us but wouldn't have wanted to stay longer.
