Pros:

Zimmer mit großer Badewanne und Handtücher. Gemütliches Bett (eine große Doppeldecke).Freundlicher Vermieter. Zimmer zum Hinterhof, dadurch sehr ruhig und hell.
Ok für Menschen auf dem Spektrum (auch wegen benutzbarer Badewanne und wenig Menschenkontakt). Gut zum Runterkommen nach einem Bummel durch die volle, laute und sinneüberflutete Innenstadt.

Cons:

Sehr klein und eng. Nur ein Nachttischchen. Keine Lampe, nur die Zimmerdecke und das Licht am Spiegel im Bad. Nur zwei Steckdosen an einer Stelle. Sehr hellhörig, vor allen, wenn andere Gäste kommen und gehen. Hört es sich an, als stehen sie im Zimmer. Das Zimmer war etwas kalt. Heizung ging nicht. Im Bad zwei Regalbretter und Stange mit ein paar Kleiderbügeln. Treppe sehr, sehr steil. Nichts für Menschen mit körperlichen Beeinträchtigungen oder ältere Menschen.

Su ubicación a 15 minutos del centro de Amsterdam, la habitación cómoda y limpia con ducha y tina.

Cons:

El baño estaba fuera de la habitación. Pero no fue relevante porque estábamos solos en ese piso

Almost ruined my stay in Amsterdam. Respiratory issues due to dust. Shared toilet.

The location and the neighborhood. Near to tram stops. The host seems fine.

Cons:

Be very cautious. The title says “private bathroom” but it has a shared toilet (it is indeed mentioned in the details but in any case it is misleading). Moreover, with our arrival the room was dirty. The owner asked the cleaning staff to “re” clean the room. The second day was cleaner but still not 100% clean, the cleaning stuff cleaned only what we mentioned as dirty. A lot of dead bugs in the room. Something so easy to clean with a cloth and water…

Pros:

The staff is hospitable and nice and the location is rather nice

Cons:

While taking the room with a "bath", it appeared that there was no personal toilet in the room, and one had to be shared among the other rooms and strangers. also, the room is not sound isolated and it is possible to hear the other rooms. Add to that the fact that the room is 4 stories high, and there is no elevator. I believe that for the price, a personal toilet is a basic feature.

Great overall experience
Pros:

I've had a really pleasant stay, the house and the neighbourhood are very quiet. The property is close to a few tram stations and there are different types of shops nearby as well. The room is the same as what is shown on the photos and there was everything I needed for a short trip. Special thanks to the host who managed to solve immediately an issue I had at the room, even though he was not feeling well at that time.

Cons:

Quite a lot of stairs but nothing unusual for a Dutch house.

The worst place
Pros:

The room was fine, but the owner is a bad person and he turned off the heating the two days we were there, it made us cold.

Cons:

The owner is a very rude person, he does not know how to serve your customers, it is assumed that when you rent a room the client is in his right to enter and leave at the time he pleases since that is what the holidays are for. It bothered him to hear steps in the middle of the night, it's absurd I DON'T RECOMMEND IT. Besides, he told us very offensive rudeness by message.

Very good
Pros:

The location was good, being walking distance to the expo centre it worked very nicely. The local shops were basic and had everything you need with a bar and pizza house by the front door. A little walk away was a bar by the riverfront and this was also pleasant.

The room was basic but private, it had everything I needed for travelling for work and was very quiet.
