The location
Very expensive compared to staying in chiayi. It feels like the hotel is at the end of it's life. Still acceptable to stay, but the carpet everywhere smells and the facility is in apparent decay.
The building was poorly maintained and not worth the high price. There was no attendant available for services, and no breakfast was provided.

Very friendly staff, the location was great to get you to the national park and explore the trails in Alishan. The beds were very comfortable and there were lots of restuarants and convenience stores only 10 minute walk away. It's a nice place to return to after a day of walking.
The hotel was a bit run down but it wasn't dirty so it was fine. The shower wouldn't heat up one day but we made do.
