Exceptional
Pros:

A great stay in Rukman's family homestay apartment. The space was massive especially if you book the full apartment with great rooms and facilities, with excellent views and a balcony on each room. The breakfast was delicious and getting to know Rukman and his family was a very nice bonus to our trip.

Spacious apartment on the 2nd level (3 bedrooms) Good for a big family or group. Great view. Comfortable beds. Kitchen with plates, gas cooker, washing machine
No insects which is great (but kept the windows closed at night). Clean in general.
Was easy to find by booking coordinates

Big mold in the bedroom, and some other places

Good facilities but not recommended for elderly and those who had climbing issues.
Pros:

Nice view

Cons:

Not known that the unit was below ground level with many steps to climb down and up. We had one elderly person who had difficulty in climbing and another with a replaced knee joints. As such we had to cancel our planned evening program and bring food for dinner from out.

Good home stay with spectacular views
Pros:

The location was a bit far from the centre but was easily accessible via tuk tuk. The view from our balcony was spectacular. The family made us very welcome. The breakfast was OK but the eggs were cold every morning.

Cons:

Some areas of the house needed a good clean. I pointed this out to the staff and no doubt they will endeavour to make amends.

One of the best places we’ve stayed at, at an incredible price!
Pros:

I cannot fault this place, I was not expecting much due to the very affordable price but this homestay exceeded all of our expectations! One of the best places I have stayed at as a tourist. From the moment of our late arrival at 3am, the owner and caretaker made the effort to drive to us and lead us to the accommodation when we were lost, stayed up till we slept to ensure we were happy and WiFi was working, and even arranged breakfast at the last minute notice, catering exactly to our needs as a group with fussy eaters at minimal additional cost. As a group of 20+, we were highly impressed by the sleeping arrangements, not to mention the incredible balcony with breathtaking views. The interior of the accommodation was beautiful - very clean, modern and incredibly spacious. It was also a 15 min drive to town which was convenient. Definitely stay here during your visit to Kandy if you can.

Cons:

Could’ve had some soap in the bathroom, and can be hard to get to in a big vehicle

Very large and lovely house with amazing views of Kandy. we enjoyed our stay and would recommend a stay there.
Pros:

Very kind and helpful staff. Nothing was a trouble. Delicious Srilankan breakfast with an amazing view.

Cons:

The lounges that were pictured on Booking.com on the balcony were not there. we were looking forward to relaxing at the end of the day there. The smell of moth balls in the lower apartments.

road - from city to house night drive is little hard.
near is no restaurant , no shops no bakery. should be go c.a 3 km.

Simply exceptional.
Pros:

The balcony view was spectacular regardless of the time, and all the facilities were very clean, giving a homely feel. Each bedroom felt like a masterbedroom, with a balcony and a bathroom each. Both stories had a comfy seating area, dining table, kitchen and washing machine. Definitely a luxurious stay.

Cons:

Some of the bathroom doors were a little hard to lock, but it was quite manageable.
