Kandy’s most ideal setting
Pros:

Perfect location in the hills close to the lake. The host is extremely kind and welcoming and cannot do. enough for his guests. The house is a traditional Kandyan style and tastefully furnished with a well maintained attractive garden. Very generous breakfasts are served on a terrace with fabulous views across the hills.

Pros:

Hotel très bien situé pour visiter Kandy. On peut aller en ville à pied, faire le tour du lac, visiter le temple sans requérir aux services des tuk-tuks.
Hote très agréable.
Excellent petit déjeuners. Le café est très bon.

This was easily our favorite place to stay in Sri Lanka!
İt's a beautiful house located up the hill only a 5 minute walk from Kandy lake, we got a stunning view on the lake and hills of Kandy from our balcony! There's no big street close by so it's quiet at night! The rooms were very clean and nicely furnished and had everything we needed!
The included breakfast was always delicious and started as early as 7am, which was great for us since we like to make the most of the mornings and leave for the city early.
The host Sarath, his lovely family and friendly staff really made this place feel like a home for their guests, we enjoyed long conversations with him and appreciated his advice on things to see in Kandy!
We decided to stay one more night than we had planned originally and that was no problem as well!
We were sad to leave, but we're already looking forward to staying here again the next time we come to Sri Lanka!

Relaxing time and good place to go to watch the cricket!
Pros:

Nice old guest house with lovely owners! Close to centre of Kandy. Would recommend as a place for relaxing stay

Not much And shame that hills side alphas too many new hotels!

Cons:

Als alleinreisende Frau etwas weit vom Stadtzentrum gelegen (ca 15 min zu Fuss). Aber mit dem TukTuk sicher und in kurzer Zeit erreichbar.

Loveliest homestay on great quiet location nearby Kandy centre
Pros:

Loveliest couple running this pretty homestay for decades. So kind and helpfull and we had a lovely huge room with beautiful windowed-doors.
Great breakfast (fresh fruit and toast and fried eggs), too good price for what you get. Book it!

E' una casa molto accogliente. Ottimo rapporto qualità-prezzo. Colazione eccellente. Proprietari molto gentili e disponibili ad aiutare. Posizione molto comoda: strada tranquilla, ma si raggiunge a piedi in fretta il centro di Kandy.

La ubicación es buena y el desayuno también. Es una casa con habitaciones y para entrar al portal tienes que tocar y te abren, no te dan llave. La habitación es muy espaciosa

Excellent et reposant séjour !
Pros:

Le lodge avec son beau jardin au calme, est très bien situé à quelques pas du lac et on peut aller à pied au centre ville. Beaucoup d’oiseaux sur le lac et on a vu un gros varan sur les berges !
La chambre deluxe est spacieuse et très agréable. Bon petit déjeuner sur une belle terrasse ! Parfois on voit des macaques et des écureuils passer sur les câbles électriques !

Есть всё, что необходимо для комфортного проживания. Место тихое, уютное. Милые хозяева, внимательный персонал. Будем с теплом вспоминать о нашем пребывании здесь.

Gute Adresse für einen Kandy-Besuch!
Pros:

Sehr sympathische Hosts, gute Lage für einen Besuch in Kandy, schönes, großzügiges Zimmer und luftige Frühstücksterrasse!
