Net buiten de drukte van het centrum. Schoon, lekker bed, goed ontbijt, vriendelijke eigenaars. Eenvoudig maar prima voor 1 nacht. Goede plek om de stad te verkennen.

Everything was great!!! Location about 2km from the center but some local restaurants, shops,laundry are just few min away. The rooms are clean, breakfast tasty and all family is really kind and helpful.

Our host was so friendly, personable & genuinely interested in getting to know us. The room was very comfortable, clean and spacious. Breakfast was perfect. Thank you 😊

Exceptional Sri Lankan breakfast (they also offer a more western style option, if that’s your thing) that changed each day, large room with ample hanging space and a comfortable bed, located in a quiet part of town away from the noisy main road. The hosts are warm and welcoming, a very pleasant and good value place to stay in Kandy.

We were also able to leave our bags overnight whilst we did an overnight trek.

Der Gastgeber war super freundlich, offen und hat gutes Englisch gesprochen (das beste, was wir bis jetzt auf Sri Lanka erlebt haben). Es war ein sehr zuvorkommender netter Mann mit dem man sich sehr sehr gut über alles austauschen konnte. Am Ende unseres Trips hat er uns sogar mit seinem privaten Auto zum Bahnhof gefahren. Wirklich sehr empfehlenswert.

The host is super friendly and we had a nice chat with him during breakfast. He explained what he wanted to achieve with the homestay and that went very well for us. He wanted his guest to have a nice place where they can rest well. It is close to the city center - only a 3 minute tuk tuk drive.
Location is quit so you can have a good sleep. Comfortable bed.

Dobrá cena, nedaleko od centra města, milý a sympatický personál, prostorný pokoj s lednicí.

Camera molto spaziosa e pulita, ben fornita, con aria condizionata (che non abbiamo dovuto usare), bagno pulito. Colazione ottima. Il proprietario è molto gentile e disponibile, parla un ottimo inglese ed è molto piacevole chiacchierarci! Ci ha permesso di lasciare le valigie e aspettare in casa sua il nostro passaggio. La posizione è comoda dal centro e in una zona collinare molto carina

We had a brief stay at Kandy but had access to a very clean room, accessible location and a warm host who was very helpful with their recommendations and making us feel comfortable. The morning breakfast was hearty, our preferences were checked for and our room patio overlooked a beautiful garden - you could pass a long time chilling there and not know as the time passes. Would recommend 10/10.

Nous avons passé deux nuits avec notre bébé. Je précise au cas où que nous avions notre propre lit bébé. Nous avons été parfaitement accueilli avec beaucoup de chaleur et d'humanité.
Nous vous recommandons de passer un séjour chez eux, ils sont pleins de bon conseil, et c'est très appréciable.

Un lieu qui surplombe la ville. Une chambre propre mais sans vue sur l’extérieur et un peu humide. Des hôtes très sympathiques.

We had the best 5 night stay at Anniewatte house. The room was clean and the bed very comfortable. Breakfast was delicious. The host family were very welcoming, accomodating and very helpful! They helped us organise a scooter and looked after our bags while we spent nights in Sigiriya, also offered to drop us at the train station early in the morning. Highly recommend this home to stay in Kandy!

Booked here very last minute after another booking fell through. I arrived late in the evening, so only a very brief visit, but the room was simple but spacious and had everything I needed. The breakfast was nice and served outside on the terrace in the morning.

This accommodation is perfect if you are looking for a calm place close to the city, but not in the businesses of the city. The room was very spacious, clean and comfortable. We wished we were able to extend but we already booked our train ticket. Highly recommended, if you are looking for a peaceful getaway from the city. The family was very kind and so helpful. All in all, great stay and value for your money.
