Wir waren dort für eine Nacht. Das Zimmer ist ziemlich schlicht, aber hatte alles für eine Nacht. Es ist das letzte Hotel an der Hauptstrasse, vor dem Lake Manyara Gate. Wir fanden es genial, da wir grosse Pavianen Clans vor der Haustüre beobachten konnten. Sie waren ca. 20 und haben die Hauptstrasse überquert.

The hostel has very good outdoor seating and a nice fireplace for evenings. Datto is very responsive via WhatsApp and you can easily book tours with him.
We booked a one day tour to the national park Lake Manyara with a canoe trip. Although we enjoyed the day, we found the price to be a bit expensive for the experience you get.

We struggle to get our breakfast box, even is a place at the entrance of a national park and they should be use to this.

Kamer met badkamer was zeer klein.
Muggennet was te klein om het bed te kunnen dekken.
Geen wastafel in de badkamer, alleen een douchekop recht boven het toilet.
Sehr freundlich, sauber und gleich neben dem Parkeingang. Nettes Lagerfeuer.
Nahe an der Hauptstraße, aber wir haben trotzdem gut geschlafen.

Wir hatten einen tollen Aufenthalt in Ava Garden. Dato war ein sehr aufmerksamer und hilfsbereiter Gastgeber. Frühstück und Abendessen waren lecker.. Die Zimmer waren sehr sauber. Wir haben über Dato den Rift Valley hike und eine Safari in den Tarangire Nationalpark gebucht. Beides war sehr schön und gut organisiert. Wir kommen gerne wieder!
Sehr freundliche Menschen, alles sehr sauber und gepflegt. Frisch zubereitetes Frühstück. Super Ausflüge buchbar. Wir haben gemeinsam gekocht. Es war klasse. Sehr gutes Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis.

Ava Garden was such great value for money! Breakfast was wonderful, the room was spacious, and the location was fabulous. The ladies were nice, and the atmosphere was PERFECT to unwind for three days!
I made this the base for safaris. the host Datto is very responsive and super helpful. I stayed in the room with the double bed and attached bathroom and it was very comfortable. Breakfast was plentiful with eggs, pancake, toast and coffee. They served me breakfast at 5:30am when I had to leave for safari at 5:45am. The ladies working there are also very helpful. Datto also helped me book safaris and get a bus to Arusha. He also lent me binoculars for the safari. It is also on the main road. So you won’t have to deal with the rough roads to other places. There are mosquitoes in the area but the room was mosquito free and the bed has a mosquito net. I would highly recommend this place if you are looking for a simple budget friendly place with an amazing host.
Nothing really. It exceeded my expectations for the price point.
We had two perfect days in this location and did some breathtaking safaris with them. Everything was perfectly organized and the food was also great! Thanks to my new friend datto for having us :)
It was ok for an overnight stay.
Very relaxing place in Mto wa Mbu, great staff and near the Ngorongoro crater national park! Oh and bonfires at night can't be missed...
