Misleading listing
Pros:

I wish i had read the other reviews more carefully. The listing says whole apartment but it is just a room upstairs in someone's house. The listing also shows a full kitchen, but you are not allowed to use the appliances. The single bathroom is shared with the owner and another room.

Other than that it was clean and the owner was pleasant.

Great value for money in Cancun
Pros:

Spaceous and clean room for good value for money. Good restaurants in walking distance to the location.

Cons:

Partially outside the center & not that easiy to fjnd - however the host will send you detailed instructions.

Pros:

The proprietor is friendly and kind. We arrived late due to an almost two hour delay at the toll booth between Piste de Chichen Itza and Cancun. We stayed in a room upstairs with a common hall bathroom. The room had it's own air conditioning. We left for our flight early the next morning, so we didn't get to do anything but sleep and shower. The proprietor had to unlock the front door and gate to let us out.
The room was well decorated and comfortable. There is a mini fridge and television that you have to plug in when you arrive. The refrigerator is listed for food only with a sign saying not to plug it in for one bottle of water.
Getting to the property required me calling to be led to the correct house. This is in a neighborhood off a main road.

Great location but host too controling, room price bit too expensive
Pros:

Location is great. Many restaurants around. The area is safe. Access to many collectivos (local bu). The owner loves decoration and I think she tried her best for the place to look good but it is a bit too much things stored for my taste.

Cons:

The host was pretty welcoming but I did not feel comfortable because she takes all the space. Since she is living in one of the room, same floor, she was starring at me all the time I was moving around the place or she couldn't stop making comments the time I was using the kitchen and tried to eat in the living room or she was the type to go straight after me checking when I take a shower cause she is a cleanliess freak "Maniac". Little hants in the room, bathroom, kitchen....

Pros:

Lovely house run by a lovely, very helpful host. Very small so nice and peaceful. Located away from the hotel zone but very walkable to downtown. Plenty of options for food close by
