Great little stay
Pros:

Location was great, and the room was really quaint and homely. Self-check in was easy and the staff were responsive via Line and WeChat.

Cons:

The shower was a bit hard to operate. It was either very hot or a little cold

terrible uncomfortable drained & tired in morning.
Cons:

photos only showed photos with western bed. We had a thin mattress on the floor in aplatform underthe ceiling so low that 170cm person banged head on ceiling. pillows like concrete. me & daughter did not sleep all night. No sound proofing at all, to get max number of rooms out of small space. whole place was well worn & shabby. dangerously narrow stairs & corridors. hope there is never afire there.

The japanese wooden bath tub

Cons:

Room on the ground floor a bit dark and then you need to close the curtains, I find the way the rules are transmitted a bit unfriendly in this sense the communication might be more soft and smooth, but ok, that's how it is; and when you select a room that you don't get the one you selected, ok, that can happen, ok

the toiletries in the shower were two bottles of shampoo. no shower curtains or bath mat so had a very wet floor

Moderate priced accommodation near the center of Tainan
Pros:

Cosy and moderate for the price. Located very close to western district of Tainan yet noisy since it is behind of the street. The building is old with thin window and old air condition system. Noise transfers through old slab and toilet which should be seated. Compared to those mentioned above still it is affordable place to stay.

location, japanese style, wifi, easy to find thanks to the instruction provided

Cons:

toilet location designed for kids only (I am small but cant fit my legs), landlord instructions very rigid with several threatning sentences, numerous mosquitos in the little lobby, meaning also in the room when opening the door, no front mirror in the bathroom, room at the ground level not mentionned in the guest-house description at the booking step

Full of character, peaceful.
Pros:

Lovely decor, Japanese style. Colourful and original. Nicely furnished. Very nice bathroom and shower. Nice soft lighting. Air-conditioned . Located in a very quiet alleyway in a quiet central district. Very easy to get around on foot and by bus from here.

Cons:

It's like an Airbnb with no contact with the owners.
Our ground floor room was very dark in the daytime. The bed in the other room was too soft and not so comfortable.

it would be nice place for Taiwanese to stay and enjoy the Japanese style room but not for foreigner. I went to the addr

Japanese Style + the yukata in the room + wooden bathtub

Cons:

The location on booking is a diferent location to the real place, the check-in procedure is really annoying and they only allow to check in after 4pm.
