The manager is very helpful and friendly. The room was a good size and very clean. The hotel is within walking or cycling distance to Jialeshui beach so is in a good location if you are a surfer.
The hotel is quite isolated and there are not many eating options or convenience stores nearby so I would recommend renting a scooter in Hengchun if you are arriving there. Having transport is also essential if you want to explore the beautiful southern Taiwanese coastline, Kenting town and the national park.

Excellent location and selection of surfboards for every condition. I was the only one staying there so had it all to myself.
You'll want transport if you want to get around during the week. There's only 1 or 2 buses during the week so I rented an bike from Henchun which opened up more eating options and exploring the area.
Loved how close it was to the beach - just 5 mins walk. Loved how clean it was and how suitable the floors were for coming in post surfing, slightly wet and sandy. Was very appreciative of the lend of bicycles as we didn't have any transport - this made our radius bigger to cycle 10-15mins to a cafe restaurant and a steamed bun shop.
The Owner was very friendly & the Dog was very cute.
The room was very comfortable and the location is perfect to go surfing early morning (less than 5min away walking). The owner helped me finding a coach (who spoke English). The coach, Aganas, was really friendly, serviceable and her guidance was very insightful
The restaurants around the hotel are not opened at night (although Google Maps says otherwise) :(
This place was amazing! The owners were super super friendly and very helpful! It was a great stay and I definitely will go back there again. For all the surfers out there its the perfect place to stay. There you directly can rent boards and its very close to the beach. Another great point that needs to be mentioned are the neighours - they also very super friendly. All in all a fantastic stay! Looking forward to my next trip there and I will come, promise!
