Pros:

Mooie en comfortabele kamers met eigen koelkast en badkamer, en goed schoon.

Cons:

Geen keuken tot je beschikking zoals gedacht in de beschrijving, maar de eigenaar liet ons wel lief borden of bestek lenen. Daarnaast was de eigenaar erg behulpzaam als we vragen hadden of hulp nodig hadden.

Posada carina, pulita con aria condizionata. Host gentili.
Pros:

Siamo stati due notti e tre giorni, il tempo giusto per godersi appieno l’isola. Il taxi dall’aeroporto alla posada costa 40k (sia prendendolo direttamente fuori che facendolo prenotare dall’host): un po’ caro per soli 10 minuti di auto, anche se a piedi sarebbe circa un’ora.

All’arrivo siamo stati accolti non dall’host ma dai figli piccolimi, dalla sorella e dal marito: persone molto gentili e disponibili che ci sono piaciute subito. La stanza era carina, pulita, fresca, con aria condizionata, e affacciata su un patio con tavoli, sedie e un’amaca, davvero piacevole. Fondamentale la presenza di un bollitore che ci ha permesso di farci il caffè/tè quando ne avevamo voglia.

Il primo giorno abbiamo affittato uno scooter (fondamentale per muoversi sull’isola e visitare le spiagge) a circa 90k per 24h mentre il secondo giorno prenotato un tour di snorkeling a 120k a persona. Il tour è stato bellissimo: dalle 9 alle 15:30 circa, senza pasto incluso, ma con la possibilità, con un po' di fortuna, di vedere tartarughe marine, mante, piccoli squali e tanti pesci colorati.

La posizione è buona: la casa dista circa 30 minuti a piedi dal ponte Santa Catalina, dove si trovano ristoranti (anche se non i migliori) e supermercati, e sempre 30 minuti da Almond Bay (una delle spiagge più belle, anche se la più bella è south-west bay) e soprattutto senza sand-flies, animaletti che nell'ore pomeridiane possono essere molto più fastidiosi delle zanzare.

La vicinanza con la spiaggia è importante perché, se non avete lo scooter e vi rimane mezza giornata libera prima di partire, potete raggiungere a piedi una spiaggia gradevole senza problemi.

Nel complesso, però, una posada accogliente, pulita e in ottima posizione per scoprire le bellezze di Providencia.

Cons:

Unico difetto: la casa non è sempre abitata, quindi a volte può capitare di aver bisogno di qualcosa (anche solo un’informazione) e non trovare nessuno. Infatti quando siamo andati via non abbiamo potuto salutare nessuno perché non c'era nessuno in casa.

El millor lloc de Providencia!!
Pros:

És un lloc molt tranquil i acollidor. Des del primer moment, em van ajudar amb tot el que vaig necessitar, explicant-me tot el que es podia fer a l’illa. A més a més, també ofereixen lloguer de motos. L’ambient que es respira a casa seva és increïble i l’amabilitat i la simpatia de tota la família m’han omplert el cor i farà que recordi Providencia amb un gran somriure. L’habitació està perfecte, té tot el que necessita, llit ample i còmode, nevera, armari, aire acondicionat… Si heu d’anar a Providencia, no aniria a un altre lloc que no fos aquest 💘

Questo posto è magico, perfetto per rilassarsi ed immergersi nella natura, come tutta l'isola del resto. L'amaca e la colazioni nella terrazza sono uniche ed indimenticabili. La famiglia è accogliente, gentile e pronta ad aiutarti in qualsiasi cosa. spero di ritornare

Tutto ciò che serve a Providencia
Pros:

Colazione e gentilezza sono i due punti forti di questo posto. Infatti la proprietaria ci ha accolti con cortesia e si è fatta in quattro per venire in contro alle nostre esigenze.
Abbiamo noleggiato i motorini e le biciclette, inoltre nelle stanze sono presenti frigo e aria condizionata.

Cons:

Unica nota per chi dovesse avere bambini piccoli: non è presente acqua calda, forse potrebbe essere così per tutta l'isola. Per noi non è stato un problema ma potrebbe esserlo per qualcuno.
C'è una discreta differenza tra le stanze, quelle a piano terra sono meno spaziose e arieggiate.

Perfect Posada in Providencia
Pros:

I loved staying at Cedar Valley for my first time ever visiting Providencia. Thankfully, the price point matched my expectations and gave me a good base for my scuba diving adventures. The most important piece is the friendliness of Melida. She was so nice and welcoming and made me feel as one should when you stay at a Posada. Enjoyed being on the top floor as there were less mosquitos and as someone who has sweet blood - it was very important. Definitely take her up on the lunch and dinner options if available. Last but not least - when I was departing she took time out of her today to thank me for staying with her and thanking me for visiting Providencia. Those types of things really warm my heart and I just thanked her for having me.

Tip: Be sure to know how to drive a scooter and if not, try and learn before hand. I swear next time I'm going to learn to drive one myself :-)

Pros:

Very nice family house positioned near the main road, among banana trees. The owners seemed honest and kind people, trying to help when I needed. Good communication. The room is small but very cosy and nicely decorated with good air-conditioning. The terrace is very pretty. It is about 20min walk to the main market.

Cons:

The options to get a bite around are very limited, you need to go to the main “town”, for the supermarkets and some restaurants- 20 min walk
Difficult to move around without a scooter. I walked a lot and took moto taxis and it was fine

It’s was very clean and the breakfast was good.

Cons:

My flight was late and I was the only one in the guesthouse, but she asked me to leave at the exactly time. I don’t think it’s really nice but no big deal. I was there to relax but as it was the off season there was a lot of noice with building stuffs.

Beautiful place and close to city centre and dive shops by bike.

Cons:

Had a challenge with bike rental and cost of repair for a left back light replacement was more than daily rental cost. Only change we saw while there was screw/bolt. Somehow our screw fell out during the first few hours.
