I stayed over on a Sunday night after only booking that morning. And soon after booking I got an email detailing how I could get myself in, where to find the keys etc. I myself then sent an email requesting, if possible, an early check-in, to which I got no reply. My arrival wasn't great. The hostess surely could do with improving her welcoming skills. And also, don't be rude! Asking me if I knew what time it was as a sarcastic way of telling me I was early, is not the way to deal with not attending to early arrival emails sent several hours before arrival.

Very comfortable, value for money short stay
Pros:

The room had everything we needed for a comfortable overnight stay. The kitchenette is very small but proved adequate for re-heating a meal and making tea/coffee. We stayed 1 night and there was nothing we felt was missing. The room was very nicely furnished and quiet, being set at the back of the house.

Superb
Pros:

The room was clean and beautifully decorated with little touches. For this kind of property typically there are no complementaries but the host goes above and beyond to make your stay wonderful. She thought of everything from tea and coffee (with biscuits) to a cloth and little dishwashing soap to wash your few dishes. It was a stay which felt full of thoughtful extras and care.
