It is a really nice homestay. Lovely relaxing garden and great breakfast to eat it in. The rooms are perfectly nice.
Most of all, Kumari is kind, friendly and lovely and really bends over backwards to make sure you have as nice a time as is possible. It is an easy walk into town and there are a couple of nice restaurants very close.

Great host, great location, comfortable bed

We had a wonderful stay at this guest house. The rooms were very clean and well-maintained, and the beds were extremely comfortable. The prices are very reasonable for the quality they provide.
The hospitality was excellent ,always ready to help. We had dinner there and it was absolutely delicious. Breakfast was also very good and freshly prepared. Everything we ate was so tasty!
We truly enjoyed our stay and would definitely come again. Highly recommend this place for anyone looking for a comfortable and pleasant stay! 😊

The owner was lovely and very helpful. The room has a big comfy queen bed with two blankets that were perfect for a cold night. The breakfast was great with traditional Sri Lankan food. The Guesthouse is 15min walk to the city center which is very handy. We also had a lovely hot tea greeting.

De eigenaresse is een ontzettend lieve vrouw die je erg thuis laat voelen. Niets is te gek en ze zorgt er voor dat je helemaal in de watten wordt gelegd. Het was voor ons een koude nacht bij aankomst maar voor onze 2 kleine kids regelde ze zelfs een kachel zodat ze warm konden slapen. De bedden waren ook lekker zacht.
Sochtends stond er een ontbijt klaar dat volledig voldeed aan onze wensen. Wij raden iedereen aan om hier te verblijven, nabij het centrum maar ik de rust van de groene heuvels.

La hospitalidad de Komari hace que te sientas como en casa. Siempre estuvo atenta a que estuviéramos cómodas y ayudándonos en lo que podía. Tiene un jardín precioso para relajarte y leer o disfrutar de la naturaleza de la zona.

I had a wonderful stay at this guesthouse!(Two nights) The place was spotless, with a high standard of cleanliness throughout. The bed was incredibly comfortable, making it easy to get a good night’s sleep.including the bathroom, which was spotless and had reliable hot water a big plus after a long day. One of the highlights was the food absolutely delicious, with a variety of tasty options that exceeded my expectations.
The location is another big plus it's very close to town, so everything was within walking distance, which made exploring super convenient. For the quality of service, comfort, and food, the price is very reasonable and definitely worth it.
I would absolutely recommend this guesthouse to anyone looking for a cozy, clean, and well-located place to stay with fantastic meals and great value for money!

Very bad

Its very nice to spend a few days in such peaceful environment. Everything keeps clean. The homemade breakfast and dinner are huge portion and taste very good. Only 10 mins walk to go to the city. I only take tuk tuk when I was with my luggage.

What a brilliant stay we had here. We were greeted by Kunari warmly and offered tea which we were very grateful for as it was raining. She learned more about us, our journey and what we wanted to do in the area, making her own recommendations- which of course, we did. She showed us to our room after, asking if we were happy with it before leaving. She was so kind and attentive like this, throughout our stay.

Her cooking is absolutely incredible. She was so thoughtful with it too as she remembered me saying that I struggled with spice whilst my partner loves it. She made sure to select options that worked for both of us and made us know it. For our second breakfast, she made Sri Lankan dishes as we said we adored the food here. It was all delicious!

The room is very big, warm, clean and comfortable. It feels very homey, making you feel comfortable throughout your stay.
