Amazing stay and one night is notttt enough!
Pros:

Everything was amazing! The staff, the father especially was sooooo kindddd we like him so much, so smiling and really like a family. The room was amazing! Confortable and the view was stunning. It’s certainly a place I will come back and told everyone to go. Seriously if I can give more than 10/10 I will give more!

Katapola is a wonderful place to stay, really Greek. Good restaurants, cafes, grocery stores.
Pros:

Location, high up above the Port with lots of steps but a fantastic view. The owner met me at the Port and took my bag up to my room, very kind and helpful. The room and bathroom were a good size. Table and chairs and drying rack outside my room. A very comfortable large bed.

Cons:

Less steps but you can't change that.

Preis-Leistung bei schönster Lage stimmt vollends.
Pros:

Ausgezeichnete Lage. Phantastische Sicht auf den Hafen vom Bett aus. Sehr zentral im ruhigen Hafen gelegen. Geräumiger Balkon mit schönster Aussicht. Sehr herzlicher Empfang am Hafen. Kurzer Fussmarsch über Treppen durch das Dorf zur Unterkunft. Unkomplizierte Autovermietung durch die Besitzer der Pension.

Cons:

Dusche/Toilette etwas klein gemessen, aber tolerierbar. Keine Garantie auf Warmwasser beim Duschen.

Pros:

Very friendly people. Responded extremely quick when we needed something. Changing rooms because of the wind was no problem. Location near the port is nice. In summertime and without children it's probably a nice place to stay.

Cons:

We made a reservation for a room for 4 persons. Turns out they don't have such a room. Instead we got 2 rooms for 2 persons next to each other. Traveling with two small children, my wife and I had to split up and sleep in different rooms, which we didn't like.
We had bad luck with the weather. The hotel can't do anything about that, but one room (nr 14) didn't have a window, just a hole in the wall, so the rain and wind came inside the room. Also, the shower was under some stairs so I had to shower sitting on the ground. Make sure you don't get room 14... They gave us another room for the next night, and that room was way more modern, but we left early anyway, because we found another hotel that offered actual 4-person rooms.

Pros:

What a gem. Faris came to pick me up from the ferry to show me how to get to the hotel. It's only 150 m, but up some steps (not too steep).
My balcony had a fabulous view over the the bay.
All restaurants and shops are on the doorstep.
Bed is super comfy!

I rented a car via the hotel. Super handy & quick

Will definitely return when on Amorgos!

Υπήρχε θέμα με το ζεστό νερό. Πότε είχε και πότε όχι. Μπορεί να είχε ζεστό νερό το βράδυ και να μην είχε το πρωί - μεσημέρι.
