Great location - next to a metro stop, tram, there are also buses. Large, comfortable and clean room, the same applies to the bathroom. Available terrace with a view of the ancient hills.
The entrance to the hotel is with a code, but access is easy.
In the warmer months, with the window open, you can hear the noise from the boulevard.
The location was excellent because it was very close to the metro and only two stops from the centre.
I was only able to enter the building before 3pm (check in time) because I was lucky enough to run into cleaning staff. There is not a person at the front desk at all times which means even leaving your luggage there before check in time is not easy/convenient.
Train station is just across the street.
Wifi is super slow.
Location next to Metro … awesome
Poor water pressure… No staff visible on check-in AND check-out
The property was clean, it had character and the bed was comfortable
The windows might as well not have been there, we could hear every bit of traffic as though we were outside. The shower heads were broken, the curtains were hanging off the rail, there was zero communication from staff during our stay
Great location, nice and comfy rooms
There are no quiet rooms, so if you have a sensitive sleep it may become a problem. But the staff agreed to change my room to a more quiet one and it saved me
The accomodation is conviniently located near the city with access to various ammenities. We were traveling mainly for attending an event so we booked the closest and the most economic option. If you are traveling as friends then this accomodation should be enough to spend a few nights. In general everything was good.
Few steps from metro station, cafe and supermarket.
There’s a kettle for boiling water and two glasses but no spoon
The staff were really good to us
The 1st room that we were given had a very strong smell of tobacco… As non-smokers, we couldn’t stay there anymore. Everything had the tobacco stench - from curtains, to the bed, and walls 😭… the room was on 1st floor (Room 102)
The location and the price are only the 2 reasons that make me book for 1 or 2 days when spending sometimes in Athens.
There was no light in the bathroom ,and because it was holidays no one bothered to change the bulbs. Although it's the holidays where hotels work the most.Furniture are old, there was no internet, and of course each few days the rooms are cleaned.
Perfect Location: Extremely central, right across from the metro.
Helpful Hosts: Owners/managers were helpful and accommodating.
Comfortable Bed: Good quality mattress.
Clean Room: Generally tidy, except for minor issues (see cons).
Yellowed bedsheets and towels with some stray hairs.
smell of smoke in the hallway.
Otdated furniture and structure and noisy fridge.
Thin, torn balcony curtain (lets light in; Thicker curtain drags on the floor.
Extremely dim lighting ("like candlelight") and noisy ventilation system with a broken switch in the bathroom.
Constant traffic noise all night (faces a busy road).
Internet: Nonexistent on the 4th floor.
Final Notes:
We didn’t complain because we arrived late, exhausted, and only stayed one night. The pictures on booking do not reflect the actual conditions of the room.
