Παραδοσιακό μανιάτικο κατάλυμα. Εξαιρετικός χώρος και φιλικό προσωπικό.
Quiet location in the beautiful Mani.
We stayed in the winter and it would be nice if there was a sofa inside or some more comfortable chair to sit on rather than the dining table chairs.
The apartment was clean and with almost everything inside. It is not so far from Aeropoli and it has a good position to visit also the south part of the Mani region.
It is located in a traditional building and the owner also teached us archery one evening and it was really a funny experience, in particular for my kids
Nothing in particular
Everything a bit difficult to find at first
Just signage in advance of turnoff and bigger as it has faded a bit so missed it a few times
Remote isolated stone village in tiny olive orchard. Lovely outdoor sitting area!
No one to meet us. Eventually figured out key was in door that corresponded to booking #. So all good and managed to get in. Trouble initially locating as Google maps/Apple Maps gave us wrong location.
Late and middle of nite dog barking on and off; then a cat fight and finally a horse neighing nearby.
Really cute location and unique setting and feel to it, great to have the kitchen with stove and cooking utensils, really good pressure in the shower, was able to communicate with owner in english although was limited, owner was really lovely and friendly
Sadly we found the beds uncomfortable which is our personal preference (pretty firm and pillows not firm enough), we could have asked for other pillows but we didn't, also small maintenance things like sticking draws and doors rubbing
Beautiful loft in a good location to explore the region of deep Mani. The reception from the host is very warm and it is easy to park inside.
All good.
Unique experience staying in a 250 year old room! Good location for us with tavernas and shops nearby and on the Mani Peninsula
Shower was only okay, but lots of hot water
Vibe, pleasently unusual style of room, pleasant temperature, friendly locals, very nice quiet area
As a minor drawback, Internet didn't work properly for one of us
Mr. Vasilis is very polite and helpful. Unfortunately this does not compensate for the lack of cleanliness and the lack of maintenance. Based on the photos I see here on the platform I’m guessing that there are much better rooms than ours.
Lack of cleanliness and lack of maintenance. There were no paper towels / napkins in the kitchen. The windows had no shades and as a result the morning light was waking you up at 6a.m. There was mold on the ceiling in the bathroom. The shower curtain was full of limescale. There were spiders on the walls around the windows. The walls and ceiling were stained from the use of mosquito repellent above every wall power outlet. The blanket/quilt covers had cigaret burn marks. The mattresses were too stiff and uncomfortable.
very friendly host! beautiful room, and very clean! just 2 minutes walk to a very nice and good restaurant! we travelled with our 2 dogs, and this was no problem at all!
as doglovers it was hard to see that their dog was on the chain all the time... i dont know if it was on chain because of our dogs, or it is always on the chain...but this was hard to see...
big garden, great old building, very kind host and an amazing taverna nearby. maybe the best dinners we had in Greece were here.
this is a very original place. you leave in a former storage place with no windows but it has a special climate
the very Greek idea (met in some other places) to put electrical wires in the shower... do not check, whether they are under current...
