Angenehmer Aufenthalt mit kleinen Mängeln durch die Überforderung des Personals m Cafe.
Pros:

Sehr saubere moderne Unterkunft in der Stadtmitte. Problemloses Checkin mit Code.

Cons:

Etwas freundlichere Begrüßung bei der Ankunft und Hinweis auf das Infomaterial in der Box und die notwendige Reservierung zum Frühstück hätte den Aufenthalt perfekt gemacht.
Unsinnige Behinderung durch die Panzertürattrappe in Top1.

The place is great, the top management Could Do Better.
Pros:

I have no substantive complaint about La Sonett. I've stayed there twice, like it very much, hope to again. The room (suite/apartment) is spotlessly clean, the bed/s comfortable. Better than anywhere else in Gmunden for price and location but...(see below)

Cons:

What could have been better? The welcome! If you are famous and incognito is what you crave, or you are a spy deep under-cover, stay at La Sonett. Nobody will trouble you. The management act as if they have never seen you before, despite twice (2025 and 2026) introducing myself to the owner Herr Klein. I never saw his partner. The cafe manager (Vöcklabruck) became much friendlier and another lady (Pinsdorf) was chatty and helpful; but from the moment you arrive till you leave, the managment don't seem to care. The whole experience is automatated (entry codes, on-line checkin/check out, zero human engagement). Austrians are the most delightful welcoming people. Gastfreundlichkeit flows thick as Schlagobers. It's what sets them apart. My conclusion: La Sonett, the place is great, the top management Could Do Better.

Cons:

Haben dem Hotel per Booking Leut kurz nach Eintreffen eine Frage gestellt und einfach keine Antwort bekommen. Das Anliegen hat sich irgendwann ohnehin erledigt. Aber im Falle von Problemen sollte man wohl andere Wege nutzen das Personal zu fragen.
Man bekommt auch keine Informationen zum Check out wie sonst in anderen Unterkünften üblich.

Tout à fait de bon, goût jusqu’au petit détail les personnels et très agréable et les nec plus ultra. C’est la boulangerie pâtisserie café juste en dessous nos pieds

Pros:

Beautiful interior design, central location, comfortable bed, air-conditioning, high-quality windows with roller shutters and double glazing for noise insulation.
Very good bakery, breakfast and ice cream of course.

Ein fantastischer Kurzurlaub à la français!
Pros:

Zimmer wunderschön und Lage sehr zentral. Kurze Gehwege zu Parkgarage, Seepromenade, Shoppingmöglichkeiten, Restaurants ect. Theater/Kino quasi gegenüber. Für uns perfekt!

Kommunikation war richtig schlecht.
- Ich hatte versehentlich mein Handy und somit auch den Zugangscode im Zimmer vergessen. Trotz mehrfachen anrufens haben wir am Donnerstagabend (es war noch vor 22 Uhr) niemanden erreicht. Durch Glück haben wir eine Reinigungskraft gefunden, die uns aufmachen konnte. Wir wurden von der offiziellen Nummer nicht einmal zurück gerufen.
- Ich hatte wohl die falsche Erwartung, dass die Zimmer serviert sind (Handtücher austauschen, Müll runter bringen, Betten machen). Das ist nicht der Fall. Vielleicht war das mein Fehler, das anzunehmen, trotzdem würde ich mir dann zumindest Informationen erwarten, wo man den Müll hinbringen kann, wiean zu frischen Handtüchern kommt, etc. Wir waren mit zwei Windel-Kindern im Hochsommer unterwegs...Nachfragen dahingehend über den Bookingchat blieben unbeantwortet.

Nice new room close to lake.
Pros:

Close to lake and central area. Newer interior of room. Kitchen and modern bathroom.

Cons:

It seems silly to have to wait until 3pm to check in if the room has already cleaned. I understand there is a code that only works at 3pm, but there could be a way to notify guests if the room has been cleaned and is ready early. Also, there should be a sign for guests to leave the safe open when leaving. It was locked when I arrived, so there was no way to use it. I messaged the hotel but received no response. Not a big deal because everything else was great. Just a tip.
