This place is absolutely amazing! The staff is incredibly welcoming and friendly. The eco-village concept is brilliant and executed with great attention to detail. It's fantastic for kids, and the food is out of this world. We will definitely be coming back!

An authentic Greek sanctuary

We arrived very late at night in enagron but were warmly welcomed by our hosts with a big plate of fresh fruit and delicious cheese accompanied with a nice glass of wine. It was the start to a perfect holiday. This wellness stay is less a hotel and more a complete sanctuary for the soul. If you are looking to truly unplug and immerse yourself in tranquility defined by 5-star service where staff genuinely cares for your satisfaction, this retreat is an absolute must. Even if you are looking for activities there is a selection for everyone and every day. And the outdoor swimming pool with beautiful views into the mountains is wonderful refreshing. We highly recommend this holiday retreat!

Wunderbarer Ort in den Bergen.
Pros:

Einfach wirklich schön! Super nette Menschen, sehr schönes, ruhiges und mit der Zeit gewachsenes Resort in den Bergen. Auch das Frühstück und die Massagen im Spa Bereich sind sehr gut.

Cons:

Das Menü im Restaurant könnte etwas abwechslungsreicher und feiner sein. Es ist schon sehr bodenständig und auf Dauer etwas eintönig.

Most authentic Cretan venue with fantastic food and surroundings
Pros:

This place is a true gem. It is the most authentic hotel; beautiful place, amazing service and fantastic typical cretan food. We cannot recommend it enough. Anyone travelling to Creta should experience a stay at Enagron.

Cons:

the pool was cold but this was due to the time of the year and we still managed to swim a little. :)

Bon séjour malgré quelques désagréments

Cons:

Nous étions trois adultes et le logement comprenait 2 chambres ( sauf que l’une d’entre elles était pour nous conçu pour des enfants car pas de porte , mansardée, pas de lumière car unique fenêtre de 30 cm et 3 petits lits 🙁 pourtant sur la réservation adultes et pas d’enfants ???
Très bonne cuisine mais 2 soirs sur trois on a eu un souci avec les plats toutefois le personnel a été réactif .

Pros:

Purposely chosen to get away from the coastal tourist crowds. A great boutique hotel. Food was marvelous with an offering of a local dish every evening. Helpful staff keen to please. A good offering of suggested activities to do in area.

Cons:

More of a caution than a dislike...Crete inland roads are generally in rough condition and very windy. Although the distances are not great, there is no quick travel to get to other parts of the island or back to the coast.

An Amazing and wonderful place to relax
Pros:

We had a wonderful stay in an absolutely amazing place.
Peace and quiet that reconnects you with yourself, an incredible staff, a stunning pool with breathtaking views, and delicious food.
Everything was perfect

Cons:

The shower is inside a bathtub with a curtain, quite small and not very comfortable.
The hot water wasn’t always at the desired temperature.
One thing I would consider for the future is the presence of lovely children running around.. at times it was a bit too noisy.
It felt like if this place were adults-only, it would be truly perfect and peaceful for the soul.
A place like this is meant for disconnecting from all noise and fully absorbing nature.
