We spent 7 days at the hotel, and we definitely have something to say!
The atmosphere was incredibly warm, everything was very modern and aesthetic, and the rooms were bright and spotless. Every evening, we could enjoy the sunset from the balcony :)

Csendes, hangulatos a környék. A személyzet nagyon barátságos és segítőkész. A reggeli finom volt, viszont lehetett volna kicsit nagyobb a választék. A többi étel is finom vol az étteremben. A szoba szép és tiszta volt. Ajánlom mindenkinek a szállást.
Az autóbérlés szolgáltatás a hotelben ami teljesen megbízható, ajánlom azt is.
A szobában a mosdóból vízengedés közben ránkfröccsent a víz a mosdó alakja miatt. Minden más tetszett.

First of all, the host Angelos and his daughter were so lovely, welcoming and polite. Rooms very clean and spacious. The area is a bit secluded, you definitely need a car to reach other areas, but that's the point of going on a exploring holiday, unless you want to spend a whole holiday in the holiday. The only thing that let it down a bit was the lack of variety at breakfast. It's alright when you stay 2 3 days, but to have 7 breakfast nearly the same is not ideal. We would consider staying here again, but we wouldn't add meals.

The apartment was absolutely amazing - very spacious, extremely comfortable, and spotlessly clean. The jacuzzi was fantastic, and the large balcony offered stunning sea views from every angle. Honestly, it was the best room we’ve ever stayed in. The owners were incredibly kind and helpful, creating a warm and welcoming atmosphere. Breakfasts were delicious with a good variety, and the hotel’s restaurant was also enjoyable, offering tasty food at fair prices. The pool was always clean, with plenty of sunbeds available at any time.
The pool was quite shallow, which made it difficult to really swim in, and the beach was a few hundred meters away, requiring a short walk.

Il titolare ANGELOS è una persona estremamente gentile e simpatica , molto solare e sorridente, pronto sempre a soddisfarete qualsiasi richiesta! Sua figlia e sua moglie sono state molto gentile e disponibili❤️, come tutto il resto dello Staff sempre sorridente. L’albergo molto bello e ben curato , la colazione abbondante e molto buona . Abbiamo cenato diverse volte in struttura da leccarsi i baffi , cucina tipica greca veramente ottima . La camera era spaziosissima con una bellissima vista . Siamo tornati da un giorno a casa e già ci manca tutto questo! Cosa aggiungere … Arkadia c’è rimasta nel cuore !
Nous nous attendions à passer de simples vacances au calme. Nous avons rencontré un personnel d’une gentillesse extraordinaire et très attachants. L’hôtel est luxueux comme le cœur de ses propriétaires. La nourriture est exceptionnelle. Nous avons jamais ressenti autant d’empathie, de plaisir à recevoir. Les équipements sont très qualitatifs.

- The bed didn’t have a mattress or pillow protectors. There was only the sheet & pillow case on top of the mattress and pillow itself. Didn’t feel clean/sanitary.
- Pool closes too early, 7:30pm.
- Missing hooks to hang our bath towels in the room
Every part of our stay at Arkadia Hotel was wonderful - from being picked up at the airport, to dropped off at the end of our time in Zakynthos, there isn’t a single part I could fault.
The hotel is located on a beautiful part of the island, and feels like a quiet retreat to unwind in after exploring the island (or to relax at for the entire day). There are several restaurants, cafés, and a supermarket, all within a 15-20 min walking distance, as well as a small stone beach with crystal clear water - perfect for swimming/snorkelling or sitting by with a coffee.
The room we stayed in was clean and spacious with comfortable beds, and a modern bathroom. We chose the side sea view rooms and couldn’t be happier with what we received.
We ate at the hotel several times throughout the week - both lunch & dinner. Everything is home cooked and we genuinely couldn’t compliment it enough. As someone who doesn’t eat meat, there were plenty of options, and on the special Greek night they were more than happy to make me a vegetable moussaka.
We rented a car from the hotel, which was a super simple process that we’d definitely recommend - especially if you’re wanting to check out some of the other areas of Zakynthos. It was great to be able to sort this out at the place we were staying, so convenient.
The highlight of our stay was the people who run the hotel. Angelos, his daughter Sotiria and the rest of the family were all so kind to us throughout our whole week in Zakynthos - giving us great recommendations for food, restaurants and places to visit on the island. The service they provide is nothing short of excellent and I can see why so many reviews call this out. Thank you for making our first trip to Greece full of lovely memories - when we come back to Zakynthos, we will 100% be booking again. It’s been a pleasure.
