Loved Elounda Garden Suites, everything as advertised on website,
Pros:

Peaceful location but walkable to town and beaches.
Very clean and beautifully kept and designed.
Lovely staff and a wonderful relaxing place to stay with all amenities close by

Πολύ καλή διαμονή με μικρές βελτιώσεις !!!
Pros:

H Τοποθεσία ήταν πολύ καλή. Ήταν σε ήρεμη περιοχή αλλά ταυτόχρονα
σε λιγότερο από 5 λεπτά έφτανες με τα πόδια στα μαγαζιά και στα εστιατόρια του χωριού που ήταν μεγάλο πλεονέκτημα.

Περισσότερος χώρος για πάρκινγκ,
Χωρούσαν λίγα αυτοκίνητα στο πάρκινγκ του ξενοδοχείου και το δημόσια πάρκινγκ που υπήρχε σε 70 μέτρα ήταν γεμάτο με αποτέλεσμα να χρειαστεί μερικές φορές να παρκάρουμε το αυτοκίνητο στο δρόμο.

Pros:

De centrale ligging. Op wandelafstand van het winkelcentrum en de zee en toch heel rustig. De schaduwrijke tuin is in de zomer zeker een pluspunt.

Cons:

Het zwembad was volgens mij niet verwarmd en ook wel aan reparatie toe.

The view in the bedrooms was of someone’s unsightly backyard. Hopefully the landscaping will grow so it can’t be seen or maybe a privacy screen could be installed.

We waren blij dat we na 3 dagen een andere (grotere) kamer konden krijgen want de eerste kamer kwam niet overeen met de afbeeldingen op booking. Anna en Christina zorgden hier voor een passende oplossing. Toppers op het bed waren nodig omdat de matrassen echt niet lekker liggen, gelukkig was dit mogelijk. Parkeermogeljkheden bij het verblijf zijn prettig

Cons:

Zwembad valt uit elkaar. Niks geen heated pool, het water is gewoon koud. Tevens lagen de bedden zonder topper echt niet lekker. De bedden bij het zwembad houden water vast waardoor je eigenlijk altijd een natte kont krijgt als je er op gaat zitten dus alleen met badkleding erop kunt. We hebben hierdoor nagenoeg geen gebruik gemaakt van de faciliteiten wat zonde is voor zo'n relatief dure verblijfplaats.
Keukeninventaris was zeer minimaal en verschilt van kamer tot kamer. Tevens denk ik dat er wel iets gedaan kan worden mbt het milieu; niet elke dag alle handdoeken verschonen, maar alleen als deze op de vloer liggen.

A fabulous holiday and fantastic staff at this very comfortable hotel.
Pros:

The staff were amazing, the location was so good five minutes walk to the beach and about three minutes to the shops and restaurants. We would definitely stay here again.

Great Location. Very poor choice if you want value for money.
Pros:

Location - great location. Although there were occasions of 'dogs barking' due to being in the local area at the edge of the resort.
Staff - lovely staff who were very helpful. They even left a nice touch in my room on my birthday.

Cons:

Description of room specification/facilities offered wasn't what was advertised on Booking.com. This should be reviewed as it was a shock to discover that our self catering experience wasn't as expected.

1. Family Suite with Garden View (Room 204, upper floor) - 40m2 with 2 sofa beds and 1 large double bed (not true - there was a fold up single bed which was a foot stool and not a sofa. You could not use this as a sofa).
2. Includes a dining table (not true. No dining table available for a family to use).
3. Facilities - includes a DVD Player, Microwave, Washing Machine, Tumble Dryer, Radio, Iron, Iphone docking station (Not true, none of these facilities were available in our apartment).

Pool - the pool is NOT heated and is in a very poor state of repair. It is also a salt water pool and very small. The pictures with the 'wide angle lens' are very deceptive.

We booked this room in good faith and paid the extra for the family suite (even though we were travelling as a couple) with the expectation we would have ample room to cook and eat. This was not the case at all. We had to eat out every evening due to lack of facilities.

We spoke with another guest and they tried to find alternative accommodation without success. Therefore, we were unfortunately, stuck with this room which was a very expensive experience - €190 per night. Very disappointed.

Really disappointing and felt let down by the state of the pool.
Pros:

This property is well situated for local tavernas, the small beach, harbour and shops. The female staff that greeted us were very friendly. Our apartment was a nice size and serviced most days.

Cons:

The swimming pool is terrible! My advice would be to check with this property for up to date photos before booking your stay and don’t make the mistake we did of choosing Elounda Garden Suites solely because of the lovely looking ‘heated’ pool. The bottom of the pool was breaking up which got progressively worse during our stay and although we were told it was supposedly safe we didn’t want to take the risk of getting any of it stuck in our feet. The property should have notified people before arriving about the maintenance issues with the pool instead of being misleading.

Relaxing and enjoyable
Pros:

We were there for a family wedding, the location and the rooms could not be faulted. The staff were amazing, so friendly and helpful.

The pool needs work but I am sure this will be done off season.
