Good location, helpful cleaner and well stocked kitchen
Room was quite small and a bit noisey
The hotel is in an excellent location, within walking distance of public transport, restaurants, and key areas of the city, which makes getting around very easy. The room was clean, well maintained, and appears to have been recently renovated.
Rooms are on the smaller side, and didn’t feel impractical for a short stay. The bed was comfortable, and the room had everything needed for a city trip. Staff were friendly and helpful, and check-in and check-out were smooth.
Overall, a solid option for a short stay in Boston, especially if location is a priority.
One downside was the air conditioning, which was quite loud and behaved a bit strangely. We were lucky that the weather wasn’t too hot, otherwise this could have been an issue. The shower setup is also a bit unusual, as the shower head doesn’t move, but this seems fairly standard in the US.
It’s also worth noting that we did not receive the room that was shown in the photos on Booking, which was a bit disappointing, even though the room we had was still clean and functional.
Location
Pillows and hot water
Location is great!!
Bathroom very uncomfortable and the towels were too small.
Great location, very convenient and easy to get around from. I also really appreciated the blackout curtains — they made the room perfect for sleeping in. The area was quiet and peaceful, which made the stay relaxing.
there wasn’t a coffee pod machine in the room, only tea bags. I understand it’s not a B&B, but nowadays it’s something many guests expect. The shower gel dispenser in the bathroom also wasn’t working, so I had to use hand soap instead.
The heating system was automatic, but the first evening the room was quite cold and we had to use a small portable heater to warm up. Overall, it’s fine for a weekend stay, but for a longer stay it lacks some basic comforts.
The room was clean and had everything we needed. It was in a great neighborhood, but I'm not sure the location I got was in the location shown when I booked.
We were in a lower level room next to the trash bins, which was noisy early in the morning.
Tenía las cosas necesarias
Era muy chiquita la habitación. El estacionamiento es complicado para autos bajos
Loved the location, South End neighbourhood is just fantastic. It’s a beautiful neighbourhood, well connected to the rest of the city. The owner was very kind and helpful the whole time.
Hope to be back in Boston and back to Good Hotels!
The stairs can be tricky for anyone with reduced mobility, but we had no issues
We had a very poor experience at Good Hotels Boston, the room was very poorly cleaned and extremely noisy.
Nice neighbourhood and excellent location: there were two subway stations within walking distance of the hotel.
A small kitchenette, free coffee, access to a fully equipped kitchen, and some groceries such as milk, cereal, and pasta.
Very amiable staff and helpful customer support.
The room needs better maintenance and some redesigning. Some plug sockets were falling off, the AC was dirty and not properly fixed to the window frame, there were no window shutters, the artificial flowers were covered in layers of dust, there were no plug sockets near the bed, not a single hook for coats, and you couldn't use the kitchen sink without bumping your head against the cupboard. Luckily, when we complained, the staff reacted quickly and did everything in their power, but there was only so much they could do.
