We had a 1bdr family apartment with a full kitchen equipment (even dishwasher), outside and underground parking. Far from Mayrhofen downtown but too close to Horbergbahn with a big free car parking and bus station. Almost no queue at the bottom station. So if your aim is skiing/snowboarding it's much more convenient to compare with a downtown. Anyway it's 2 km (25 mins) walking in case you wanna see the old town. All the après ski activity are available at Horbergbahn as well. If you wanna have an everyday nightlife it's better to stay close to the old town. But just for one time night disco you can have a walk or take a taxi. But the price to stay in center is double or triple.
We had a great apartment with balcony and plenty of space. We liked the breakfast. We received a guest card, which provided free entry to the local spa.
Some of the information on booking.com is not correct or missing. Like the payment possibilities, you could pay by card as well. The room type was also confusing on this page.

Beautiful place to stay, hotel is in traditional austrian style. Very clean, quiet and cozy hotel with extremely friendly personnel. Very close to skilift.
Just small trifle - same breakfast every morning. Even though the breakfast is very good, you dont wanna have the same breakfast everyday.
That I missed the ski bus back at 17: 30 almost every day :) and no taxi available except at the train station
Great hosts, great breakfast and very comfortable and clean rooms. Free parking with charger if you have electric car. Also very close to the skibus
The insane traffic ques in and out of the Zillertal. Unfortunately a huge reason not to go there in peak times. Something the municipality really has to do something about. But this obviously has nothing to do with the great hosts of the hotel
