Dirty Room & Terrible Customer Service
Pros:

The location was great and convenient. The facilities are very nice, the gym is great.

Cons:

Customer service was terrible, not a glimpse of hospitality. We arrived at the lobby area to check-in, the doorman checked us in but said he couldn’t let us go to our room because HOUSY Host hadn’t left any keys for us, he showed us an empty envelope with our room number - 408, then said there was nothing he could do and that we had to contact HOUSY Host directly because he was trying to get in touch but the messages weren’t going through and the phone calls were being rejected. I tried to contact HOUSY Host directly and all of my phone calls were rejected so I sent several text messages through what’s app which were read but ignored. It was raining badly so we couldn’t do much but wait for a reply. Finally the building security told us that we didn’t need keys but a code to enter the room but sadly he didn’t have the code so we would need to get it directly from HOUSY host. After about 1hr, the person on the what’s app chat finally replied and provided us with the code. I demanded why hadn’t they sent the code beforehand when they had made us fill a lengthy check-in process that asked for so many documents and arrival questions. The person didn’t reply either.

As soon as we got to the room there was a flood in the apartment. The fridge was left disconnected and there was a terrible pond of water in the kitchen. I contacted the what’s app number immediately but all the phone calls I made were rejected again. I texted them about the issue and they said they couldn’t do anything because it was a Sunday before a Monday holiday and there was no one in the building to help us. I asked the person if it was a joke and they wrote that there should be a mop somewhere and that we needed to clean up ourselves. My mom found the mop and started drying up and cleaning the floor right away. I stopped her because we were being charged cleaning fees in the price of the stay. We used the towels from the bathroom and placed them on the floor to dry up the lake of water left.
