Excellent location for everything
Beautiful apartment, well appointed, outstanding location less than a 5 minute walk from the lift.
No washing machine, but Edelweiss Hotel will do laundry for you.
how do you get this thing to go down to disappear
The location of our apartment was excellent - 1 minute from ski hire, lifts and supermarket. The apartment felt luxurious-with quality furnishings. It was also super quiet - we slept really well!
We had fabulous snow! Which was a massive unexpected bonus.
Check in was at hotel Edelweiss & Gurgl - only one minute away - this was a great hotel in superb alpine style with a lovely bar area. The team there were fabulous.
As it’s was low season - the resort was extremely quiet and not much open! Personally found the food/coffee choice average. That said - it got busy - as it was the World Cup slalom.
Our ‘view’ was a brick wall from the lounge which was disappointing. The kitchen was dis-proportionate to the size of the apartment - no wiggle room for food prep - there was no extractor fan. There was no washing machine either - but there was plumbing for one. We were travelling for 8 weeks so needed this (to be fair it wasn’t listed as having one).
Really great apartments with nice rooms and bathrooms. The location is also very nice!
No sauna
The apartments are wonderful - in an excellent location -just across a small road from the Hohe Mutt Bahn where there are allocated heated boot and ski lockers . They are really comfortable , spacious and well equipped with lots of storage space . Apartment 3 for six people has a dining / kitchen area and a lounge area The two bathrooms were spacious and one had a deep bath . Hot water was plentiful . The view over the children’s ski area was an added bonus ! The staff at the Edelweiss and Gurgl were helpful , efficient and really friendly . There is a daily delivery of fresh rolls available and the SPAR store is also over the road.

We had an amazing stay at Gletscherblick for our family ski holiday. The location was perfect, close to lifts and the bus stop to Solden. Our 3 bedroom 2 bathroom apartment was beautifully furnished, with super comfortable beds and enough space for us to spread out. The kitchenette was small but adequate - missing an oven and a freezer but we made do. We particularly loved having our own ski lockers at the base of the lifts which meant no carrying skis back and forth every day. The staff at the Edelweiss & Gurgl (who manage the apartments) were great - nothing was too much trouble.

We really liked the size and quality of the wooden rooms and the modern bathrooms. The location is superb, allowing access to the ski lifts, shops and restaurants with nice mountain views. The skiing is great fun in Obergurgl / Hochgurgl with night skiing and access to Soelden and the excellent 007 elements exhibitions included.
The kitchen is too small for serious use, no oven or freezer and only two hobs. The TV's are low tech and unable to handle screen mirroring or connection to Netflix. Also given the premium nature of the chalet I would have expected complementary access to the hotels spa facilities as has been the case in other hotels/resorts previously visited.
Comfortable living space and quick access to the slopes,lovely view with a nice kitchen.
