Cons:

Παρά πολλά σκαλιά (72) που έκανε την πρόσβαση αδύνατη για παιδιά ή ηλικιωμένους
Επίσης αδύνατον να φτάσεις στην παραλία παρ όλο ότι απείχε μόλις 200 μέτρα
Δεν αναφερόταν πουθενά και μας κατέστρεψε τις διακοπές καθόσον είχαμε άτομο με πρόβλημα

Lovely, comfortable and restful place with nice hosts and excellent view in a great location.
Pros:

Asterias was a really pleasant surprise. Ali was warm and welcoming on our arrival. The room was lovely, spacious, clean and well resourced with a decent kitchenette. The bed was comfortable. The shower was good. The view from the balcony was superb, day and night. It's a short walk (few minutes) to the clean, fine-pebble, Panteli Beach with it's corner shop, eateries and sun chairs etc. The location is also excellent for a walk to Leros Castle (Panteliou) and down to Agia Marina. Swimming conditions at Panteli Beach are excellent and it's any easy swim around to Vromolithos Beach (quicker than walking!). Quiet, restful and relaxing stay.

Cons:

Unless you are right at the beach or at harbour level in Panteli, there is always some uphill walking to your accommodation. Asterias has seventy-odd steps leading up to your room door. However, they're not as bad as we thought they might be, seemed a lot less and the ascent was always finished very quickly. The view always made up for it :-)

Wish we could stay longer
Pros:

Amazing view from a large patio with table and chairs. Al and Kittt were great hosts. We wish we could stay there longer. Excellent Beach very close. Nice little port town and a quick drive or walk to the castle and windmills just above the hotel. We had inherited cat friends right from the beginning. 🐈 Hercules and Bowie. Fully equipped kitchen. Nice large dining table. Very spacious rooms and lots of cabinets to store your clothes. Having 2 bathrooms was very nice.

Cons:

We had no problem but if you have walking or climbing struggles this may not be the place for you. Many many many steps to get to the port and beach below.

Die Gastgeber haben uns und unsere Kinder sehr nett mit Kaffee, Cola und Kuchen empfangen. Die Unterkunft war sehr sauber und schön eingerichtet. Man läuft max. 5 Minuten die Treppe runter zum Strand und zu den Restaurants. Die Lage ist also wirklich Top!!! Der Ausblick vom Balkon auf das Meer und den Ort war wirklich traumhaft und wir haben diesen Anblick beim Frühstücken sehr genossen!! Die Gastgeber waren sehr hilfsbereit und gaben uns auf Nachfragen viele Tipps.

Cons:

Die Küche könnte ein bisschen besser ausgestattet sein, um vielleicht auch mal zu kochen.

I had a wonderful stay at Al and Kitty’s place. The location is perfect — just a few minutes’ walk from the beach — and the apartment had everything I needed. Al was an amazing host, always kind and helpful, with great tips about Leros.

A lovely, well managed place to stay.
Pros:

Friendly and helpful team, Al and Kitty were always willing to chat and help.
Good size room and balcony and a fantastic view.
Sea water is amaxingly clear and many coloured fish, take goggles or mask!
Alinda beach was our favourite.

Cons:

We aren't great cat lovers, my wife being allergic to them so having cats walking into our room as soon as door opened in morning, and going under the bed when we weren't looking was a challenge.
Some of the the steps up to the property slope down (the sandy coloured ones aren't level), so are tricky particularly if damp.
Restaurants and menu choices were limited due to late season stay (beginning of October).
Beaches are stoney, so take beach shoes.

Lovely hosts and a great place to Stay
Pros:

The location was very handy for the village and also for walking to Platanos. The veranda was large with comfy furniture and a fabulous view over the bay. The room was large with a big comfy bed. We had everything we needed.
The hosts Kitty and and Al were welcoming and very helpful.
