I had a high apartment with balcony in the sun all day (as requested). The apartment complex was across the road from the beach where there were lots of sunbeds but also plenty of room for people not using the sunbeds. The apartment was very quiet most of the time (occasional noise from other apartments in the complex). George, the host, was friendly and helpful. The nearest bars, restaurants and supermarket were all less than 5 minutes walk away.
The hotel address is not useful for the airport taxis - it would be better to provide instructions on how to reach the main entrance (next to Moto Style, opposite Edem and Roma)

Locatie foarte aproape de plaja, gazda foarte binevoitoare, comunicativa, daca stai de vorba iti poate pferi jnformatii pretioase legate de insula, mai ales daca vi pentru prima data in creta. apartamentul curat, o mica vila stic grecesc.
Frigiderul ar putea fi inlocuit, putine dotari la bucatarie. Merita cazarea daca intentionezi sa mananci preponderent la terasa cu banii pe care ii salvezi la cazare. Noi asa am facut.

A charming family-run property with genuinely warm and welcoming hosts. Just steps from the beach, with large windows that let the sea breeze flow straight into the room. A wonderful stay – highly recommended!

Non c’è un letto matrimoniale, ma due letti singoli uniti, nel complesso la camera ha pochi confort.

Nothing worst accommodation I have ever stayed in abroad
I didn't like anything, booking com really need to stop advertising this accommodation, it's filthy, dangerous and shouldn't be used by paying guests, apart from the reception and front drive looking like steptoes yard , dogs continuously barking, crapping and tripping you up on their extra long leads, apartment not cleaned in 2 weeks just towels chucked in every other day , windows and doors that didn't lock fridge, kettle stinking and didn't work , not even a basic toaster to make some toast in morning
Please stop this on your site as its unfit for paying holiday makers obviously only fit for the residents living there as there are a few
Been on holidays all over the world and especially greece and these are by far the worst I have ever stayed, absolutely appalling
The apartment’s location is very good, it’s close to the beach and some nice restaurants. It’s somewhat secluded so you’re a bit away from the noise on the streets.
The rooms are spacious and clean, we got fresh towels every second day.
George is a magnificent host, he invited us to barbecue one day and whenever we had any problems he solved those quickly and effectively. He even suggested some restaurants and places to visit by car. You have to try night swimming with an underwater flashlight (which was also provided by George).
The showers are relatively small and don’t have curtains so you can expect some splashing, but I think it applies to most of the properties in the area.
The kitchen could be a little bit better equipped to make it possible to cook if you’re that kind, but it worked for us.
Honestly I don’t understand the 1.0 ratings, the place is not that bad and George was always helpful. The key is communication.
All the basics were done well (bed, towels, shower, etc). George and colleagues were very helpful and friendly. The location is excellent and we found it very peaceful. The beach is literally across the road and there are very good restaurants nearby.

Great place to stay for clean and simple accommodation. Great location, but it did take a little while to find. George and his family are really nice and will sort any issues quickly. It is a small complex and doesn't have a swimming pool, but the sea is a 2 min walk. We would definitely stay here again.
