Beautiful, clean, we felt very comfortable

Super Lage, Aussicht ist bombastisch direkt aufs Meer, Frühstück konnte man auf dem Balkon mit Meerblick genießen. Wir haben uns zu jeder Zeit sehr sicher gefühlt. Auch der Cliff Path direkt vor der Haustür war wunderschön.

I have nothing but praise to Cherish and her team. We had the most wonderful stay - in fact, we booked our next visit on the spot! The room was spacious and perfectly prepared for us, the bed was large and comfortable, and the view... the view was incredible.

Loved the location near the cliff path. We opted out of breakfast so we cannot speak on that, but the room was amazing. We had an issue with the safe and the onsight manager instantly helped. Overall a great stay!

I had an absolutely wonderful stay here during a few quiet days on my art sabbatical in Hermanus, and honestly, this place exceeded my expectations in every way.

From the moment I arrived, the staff went above and beyond to make me feel comfortable and cared for. A special thank you to Cherish at the front desk, as a solo female traveler, having another African woman there made such a difference for me. She was incredibly kind, warm, and attentive throughout my stay. She even helped me carry my bags from the car when I arrived and woke up early on my departure day to help me with my luggage at 6:30am. That level of care made me feel genuinely safe and supported.

The room itself was beautiful! Its much larger than I expected, with a luxurious bathtub that became part of my nightly wind down routine after long days. My porch overlooked the ocean, and there was even direct access from the property onto the cliff path walk. Being able to step outside and immediately see the ocean stretching endlessly across the horizon felt magical.

One of the highlights for me was breakfast room service. The first morning, I ordered breakfast to my room and it arrived as this gorgeous, hearty spread that felt incredibly luxurious. And I always judge a breakfast by the croissant, this one was perfectly fresh. Sitting outside with tea and breakfast overlooking the ocean was such a special experience, especially for the price.

I also appreciated the daily housekeeping, and how thoughtfully everything was maintained during my stay. Since I visited during the quieter winter season, I had the place mostly to myself, which made it even more peaceful.

Overall, this was a 10/10 stay for me. Peaceful, beautiful, safe, luxurious, and deeply restorative. I would absolutely stay here again the next time I’m in Hermanus.

The room was outstanding, the views are exceptional and the staff amazing. Nice and central to Hermanus too so what more could you ask for.

It was very comfortable, friendly staff. The cottage was vert cosy and we had a really good time. Its always good knowing you coming back to some place warm and cosy after a day of exploring. The views were beautiful, we even spent almost the entire day indoors, because it was so nice. Usually we get a place just to sleep at because we know we will be out for most of the day.

It was quiet, central and clean.
