Pros:

We had a lovely stay at Westcliff Hermanus, the view was incredible, staff were helpful and the location was perfect. Will defintely recommend!

Een super verblijf voor een eerlijke prijs.
Pros:

Het uitzicht op de oceaan. Op wandelafstand van Hermanus via een mooi pad. De rustige ligging. De vriendelijkheid van het personeel. De afgesloten, gratis parking. De ontbijtbox die optioneel te verkrijgen was, was top. Ook de keuze om op de kamer te onbijten of in de beschikbare ontbijtruimte was fijn.

Helemaal niets.

Ideal for a short stay, beautiful views, and all the facilities needed to cook a meal. We had a lovely walk to the nearb
Pros:

Location to the ocean and town. Walkability is always a plus. Cooking facilities were available inside the house for all, and they had all the options. It was perfect.

Cons:

Very close proximity to other rooms. It’s fine if the hotel isn’t busy, but if it’s busy there’s not much privacy. Parking was rather full and tight too.

Don’t miss this gorgeous place!
Pros:

Delightful staff (Cherish); stunning views; lovely lounge area to chill out if you wish. Convenient to town but very quiet and right on the Cliff Walk. Big rooms with everything you could want. Self catering but plates etc supplied and also a lovely dining room to eat meals.

Can’t think of anything!

Beautiful views, friendlay staff but the accomodation is not worth the price and needs some attention.
Pros:

The view was incredible and immediate access to the Cliff Path.

Cons:

The accommodation needs a renovation and a bit of an uplift, considering the price paid.

Lovely quiet area close enough to town but far enough to enjoy Hermanus peacefully
Pros:

Lovely spacious rooms, equipped with everything you need. We had a lovely upstairs balcony. Mum stayed in downstairs room also very comfortable inside.

Cons:

If stairs are an issue the upstairs rooms are not easy access. Something to mention for older or less abled persons. Mum stayed in downstairs room. Also lovely but less privacy at the back and a hand rail to step out of the back would have provided more ease of access

The best sunrise to wake up to and the view!
Pros:

The view is why we booked and it did not disappoint. We booked unit 8 with the balcony upstairs in the loft overlooking the cliffpath and sea. The wind was crazy both nights, woke up a bit shaken literally, but the view in the morning with sunrise steaming straight in (slept with curtains wide open) and the view of the whales from bed...just so special.
Everything was pretty much self catering with the exception that you dont have facilities in your room its all downstairs shared/communal. Air Fryer, microwave, stove, toaster and kettle so you could really cook anything you wanted and take to your room or enjoy downstairs in the dinning area or by the pool or lounge/bar area. Cool idea...different. The cliff path is right on your door step and we walked everyday. Whales seen from our balcony and the cliff path. You can start the cliff path from there and walk kilometers to the other side to Duchies restaurant. The bath was amazing! views of the ocean right from there...loo with a view too :)

Cons:

Coffee area was a bit well weird. mobile cupboard with cups and glasses inside where you access from above sliding the top to access it. The room has so much space it would really benefit to have a little kitchenette built in cupboard that is easily accessible and just more organised. The kettle extension was not long enough so we had to disconnect it just to use it differently.
The windows rattled quite a bit with the wind. We woke up each night stuffing paper where we could to stop the rattles. I think this was just a bit annoying cos the wind direction changed so the first night we thought we were sorted for the next, but the next night the door rattled from the other side.
Little things can be done to make the stay a little more comfy and modernised a bit. Feels like it has been left a bit and attention to detail is missing like no-one checks the rooms to make sure little things fit better. eg: our headboard was too tall for the loft so each time you got into bed it hit the side wall (so trim the legs of the headboard and the headboard fits where it should perfectly so no movement). And the plugs next to the bed are behind the dry wall so you cant charge your phones etc next to the bed, the next plugs are in the "kitchen" or outside the bathroom...minor stuff but it counts in the end. Towels could be a bit more plush for the price you pay as well.
Maintenance is something they need to look at...windows but also the decking leading to the entrance felt a bit in need of love and care.

Beautiful, romantic cliff top stay
Pros:

Beautiful, well appointed room. Lovely common lounge and bar area. Stunning cliff top location with direct access to the cliff path. Close to restaurants and shops. Additional breakfast delicious and good value. Helpful staff.

Cons:

Not a thing.
