The view and location were convenient as it was close to the beach and to the restaurants.
1- When we reached the property it was not clean we had to arrange and pay for house keeping service and waste 2 hours of our time till the place was cleaned. The amount was refunded by the owner but there is no one who is physically available to manage the property so as guest you have to take care of anything that rises.
2- We had few maintenance problems that needed to be attended too and again we were requested to contact the maintenance team and pay them, wait for a refund while we only stayed for 3 days ( The AC was leaking, water was leaking in the bathroom, the 🛀 was blocked).
3- We had to recharge the water and electricity as the water disconnected suddenly!!! Which was extremely inconvenient and not included in the payment which was never communicated to us before booking.
4- The property is on the 2nd floor and you have to carry your luggage up the stairs so keep that in mind.
5- When you reached you have to fill paper work at the entrance of the resort, pay 1000 Egyptian pound as security deposit ( Refundable when you leave) and pay 100 Egyptian pounds for each person daily which is non refundable.
All above mentioned problems were never mentioned before booking and the booking is non refundable.
Just to be fair the owner was accessable via phone and messages. We were offed an extra free night for the inconveniences, however all the small issues made us uncomfortable and we did not like to extended our stay.
The hosts were really friendly. The chalet was clean, newly furnished and comfy. The view was very nice.
The market and restaurants were closed. (We went in December/out of season)
