Very bad
Pros:

It was cheap and close to the beach

Cons:

It was the worst kept accomodation I have ever stayed in. Shower was just a hose in the wall. Fridge didn't work. WiFi didn't work. The blinds didn't close. Dirty cutlery in the kitchen. No bin. I could go on. Really poor

Location, practically near the sea

Cons:

The apartment requires a complete renovation. The shower cabin is broken. The Wi-Fi is very poor and kept disconnecting. The kitchen utensils should be thrown away as they are all worn out. It was also very cold, and there is an air conditioner in only one room.

Pros:

The location of the apartment is very convenient – just a short walk to the beach and many nice restaurants nearby. It made our stay easy and enjoyable.

Cons:

This was by far the worst experience I’ve ever had in Albania in the last 4 years of traveling there. The apartment itself was old, clearly not renovated for years: the TV that should be on the wall was just standing on a shelf, the shower door was broken (only one side left), water was constantly leaking in the toilet, and the bed and sofa smelled of dampness.
But the biggest issue is not the apartment itself, it’s the agency – Elmar. Never book with them! On Booking they show different photos, so you never know which apartment you’ll actually get. And shockingly, there are hidden cameras in the apartments and above the entrance door to monitor you.
They also charge an extra 10% on top of the price as a so-called “city tax,” which does not even exist in Albania. The maximum legal tourist tax is about €1 per night, but here they simply scam you.
When I planned to celebrate my birthday with relatives (just dinner, nobody staying overnight), they demanded we pay extra for every single person entering the apartment, even for a short visit. They watched us through their cameras and gave us ultimatums. They also tried to overcharge us by €100 more than the Booking price, claiming Booking made a “mistake.” When I asked to speak directly with the owner, they refused, even though we saw he was messaging them.
In the end, they cancelled our stay on the day of my birthday just because we argued (politely!) about these unfair demands. We lost more than an hour in stressful discussions and only barely managed to get our prepaid money back.
Never book an apartment with Elmar agency! It was the most unpleasant and unprofessional experience, and I strongly warn other travelers not to trust them.
