The space around the bed is a bit narrow but the bed is much better than in the most accomodations at Crete.

Wunderbare Aussicht - ruhig gelegen.
Pros:

Sehr schön gelegenes Studios ca. 15 Minuten zu Fuss von Kato Zakros gelegen. Uns hat der Ausblick und die Ruhe sehr gut gefallen. Das nächste Mal würden wir jedoch ein Studio im oberen Stock buchen - alleine wegen der Aussicht.

Georgi is caring, and the location he has chosen for the hotel is wonderful.
Pros:

The location is excellent, as are the amenities – the bed is comfortable, and the host is friendly and very attentive. The main attractions – the Gorge of the Dead, the Minoan settlement, and Kato Zakros Beach – are just a few minutes’ walk away.

Cons:

If you plan to cook, bring your own spices.

A wonderful place for a relaxing holiday and as a base for exploring the local area.
Pros:

The studio apartment I had was spotlessly clean and tidy. The shower room & loo, although quite small, was well laid out and everything worked well (the shower was particularly good). There is a decent sized fridge, cupboard and kettle, along with cutlery, plates, etc. I found everything I thought of had been provided (including the all important corkscrew). There are several power points and these are sensibly located.

The apartment has a small terrace to the front. This is comfortably large enough for a decent sized table & chairs. Sitting out is a pleasure, as the view from the terrace is superb - looking out directly over the little bay of Kato Zakros to the rugged hills beyond. One can clearly see the Minoan palace laid out below and the entrance to the grandly titled 'Gorge of the Dead', whilst having breakfast or sipping a drink on the terrace. Apart from the odd passing vehicle on the road, I found the site of the apartments very peaceful and relaxing.

The apartments are easy to find as they are located just off the road to Kato Zakros and are clearly signed off a bend in the road. George the owner lives on site and showed me round in person. The apartments are set in very nicely landscaped grounds, with a variety of fruit & vegetables being grown in the 'gardens'. There is parking directly adjacent to the apartments.
Overall, the apartments exude the care & hard work which is evidently lavished on them by the owners and in return they provide the guests with a comfortable environment in which to relax & unwind. I will certainly be back again.

Cons:

I've struggled to think of anything which I didn't like about this place, but here are a couple of points, which I don't see as criticisms, but will be worth bearing mind if you are thinking of staying here.
Given that the apartments are perched on a steep hillside, it is inevitable that the driveway off the main road is steep, but it it is well laid in concrete and comfortably wide enough for vehicles.
Equally, the walk to the tavernas by the beach in Kato Zakros is a walk (of about 500m) down the steep main road and back up again.

Pros:

We were warmly welcomed again by George the owner who showed us around the incredibly clean and well-equipped studio. He also gave us some delicious homemade cake and fruit before leaving us to settle in. The accommodation has stunning views of the bay and Gorge of the Dead. Our studio had a lovely large terrace which was really peaceful and we spent many hours just enjoying the view. During our 7 days there we visited Xerokampos beach and sampled the local restaurants at Kato Zakros, before moving onto Kouremenos for the rest of our holiday.

Hopefully, we will return in the future for a sixth visit as we had such a good time there.

Pros:

Stunning view, incredibly friendly and relaxed staff, well-appointed kitchenette and convenient parking. Easy walk to beach, restaurants and the beginning of the Gorge. Our only complaint is that we wish we could have stayed longer!
