Very clean rooms, comfortable bed, lovely bar area for a morning coffee.

Everything was perfect and spotless, very clean and room was spacious for our family (2 adults, 2 kids 10/13). We had a great welcome from the start and great hosts throughout. Family run hotel, and the hosts made us feel relaxed, very attentive and caring.
Great location, very close to restaurants, supermarket and local buses etc approx 5 min walk.

Beautiful property and room which was extremely clean and spacious. Excellent location close to the local bus stop and supermarket, as well as a quick walk into the Old Town.

Out of the five different hotels we stayed in across the Greek islands during our honeymoon, this was by far the nicest room we had. It was absolutely perfect — spacious, stylish, and so beautifully designed. We both agreed it was the best accommodation of our entire trip.

The location couldn’t be better. Within just a five-minute walk, you’re right in the centre, which made it so easy to explore while still having a calm, beautiful place to retreat to.

What really made our stay so memorable, though, was the people. The staff were brilliant — so kind, helpful, and understanding. They went above and beyond for us, staying up late so we could check in around 11pm, and surprising us with a bottle of Prosecco in our room to congratulate us on our honeymoon. Those thoughtful touches made us feel so welcomed and cared for from the very beginning.

The hotel itself is stunning, everything is beautifully kept, and the service throughout was attentive without ever feeling overbearing. We left feeling so grateful and so impressed.

I will definitely, definitely, definitely be returning — not just because of how beautiful the hotel is, but because of how special the staff made our stay.

Spotless and beautiful boutique style hotel. Rooms cleaned everyday and owners very helpful with resteraunt recommendations and sorting taxis. The hotel is a short walk away from the main area but far enough to be peaceful. Hotel right next to supermarket and bus stop to explore the island! Thanks so much for a lovely stay we will definitely be back :)

L’emplacement de l’hôtel est parfait. Il est à 5mn en taxi (15€) de l’aéroport, il y a un arrêt de bus à 2mn à pied qui nous emmène directement aux plages principales (arrêt 26) pour 3€. Le centre est également à 5mn à pied.
L’hôtel est très propre et tout est parfaitement entretenu , la chambre familiale parfaite pour un couple avec 2 enfants. Les gérants sont très gentils et souriants et font tout leur possible pour vous satisfaire.
Il est également placé dans une ruelle au calme.
Nous reviendrons dans cet hôtel, je recommande 👌👍

The hotel is a family run enterprise with attentive staff who are always there to help. Very handy for a short stroll into Skiathos town

We thoroughly enjoyed our short stay at Althaea. Everything is pristine and immaculate, the rooms are large and the bed was super comfortable. I cannot fault it. Staff were friendly and helpful. Would definitely recommend.

Perfect in every way! Close to the town but still quiet and tranquil, room was spotless, cafe provided delicious food and mango smoothies were a hit! Staff are excellent, so friendly, helped us source a quad bike, Mamma Mia cruise etc. The sunbeds are unbelievably comfortable, we basically had a private pool most of the time.

Nice big rooms with 2 bedrooms and a nice big balcony. The staff is friendly og good cleaning. It is close to town and beach. The bus to other beaches is just across the road.

Great location, 1 minute walk to supermarket, 3 minute walk to restaurants/bars/shops, 10 min walk to port.
This is a family run business and they are all very welcoming and will go out of their way to help you on your holiday finding trips or booking restaurants and taxis etc
They have the best coffee and the breakfast/lunch/snack menu is all very good. The cleaners work very hard and keep the place and rooms looking fresh every day.
