Overall, a great experience and a very good value for money.
Pros:

This place was a great choice for some chill days. It is placed in a quiet area just in the opening of a gorge, without anything else around but very close to some villages and the town of Ierapetra (car needed). It has nice views of the mountain but the sea is also visible. Great view of the stars in the night too! It is built with balconies in several levels and connected by stairs, giving the vibe of a little village in the island. The facilities are humble but it’s enough to be comfortable and gives a nostalgic atmosphere. It is simple and beautiful, made me feel like home and reminded me of my childhood vacation. Most guests were families but some young couples too. I could see children had a great time roaming around and playing with the cats that are taken care by the people in the property. The owner and the staff were sweet and kind. They were caring and offered their help without even being asked, when we arrived without our bags due to flight delays. There are some nice beaches very close to the property, with our favourite being Kakkos Beach (5’ by car).

Inconfortable, sale et sans eau chaude. A fuir.
Pros:

La situation du lieu est chouette. On est vraiment entre les montagnes, à 10min on peut accéder à des plages, des commerces et des restaurants. On peut partir directement à pieds depuis l'hotel pour marcher dans la montagne et il y a une rando pas trop mal.
Sinon il y a d'autres randos vraiment sympa à 30 ou 40min de route de là. Cette zone de l'île est plutot intéressante de ce côté.

Cons:

L'hotel est catastrophique. C'est difficile d'imaginer comment il a pu obtenir une telle note.
On est passé hors saison, donc il n'y avait pas grand monde. Heureusement parce que les chambres semblent mal isolées. Mais bon, durant notre séjour, c'était plutôt calme, à part le chien du proprio qui vient de temps en temps aboyer sur le couloir extérieur des chambres...

- C'est sale. La présentation et le pliage des serviettes sur le lit peut pas cacher que le ménage n'est globalement pas fait. Les toilettes c'était ok, mais tout le reste... Murs et sols sales et poussiéreux, poussières autour et sous le matelas, tâches sur le linge de lit (sang sur l'oreiller ?), etc. Bref, rien de ce qu'on pourrait attendre d'un hotel.
- Le matelas est un vieux machin avec un trou sur un côté. Globalement trop mou et peu large pour deux personnes. Il est bon à filer à la déchetterie. Nous avons assez mal dormi, serrés entre deux murs. Mal de dos garanti.
- La chambre est très humide et étouffante en rentrant le soir. Pas d'aération.
- Pas d'eau chaude en rentrant, 3 soirs sur 4. Lorsque j'ai envoyé un message au propriétaire qui m'avait pourtant indiqué de le contacter en cas de souci, celui-ci m'a ignoré et n'a pas répondu. On ne l'a pas recroisé jusqu'à notre départ.

Je comprends que l'hotel soit un lieu avec un budget contenu et où on peut s'attendre à un confort plus modeste. Mais quand même. C'est pire que bien des endroits où j'ai été en Inde.
Au minimum il faudrait faire un ménage complet, avoir une literie correcte et propre et de l'eau chaude, même sur un budget serré, c'est le minimum auquel on devrait avoir droit dans un hotel...!

Echt een superlocatie om een tijdje te zijn.
Pros:

De lokatie is gelegen in een zeer rustige omgeving. De eigenaar is heel vriendelijk en behulpzaam. Het is een gedeelde keuken maar iedereen heeft zijn eigen spullen zoals koelkast, kookgerei en vaatwerk. Je hebt een prachtig zitje voor de kamer in een fantastische groene omgeving.

Cons:

De locatie, qua bouw, is uniek te noemen maar je moet wel veel trappen lopen om bv. bij het zwembad of receptie te komen. De zitjes voor de kamer zijn iets te dicht op elkaar gemaakt. Maar de gasten zijn overwegend vriendelijk.

Pros:

Tolle Lage.Sehr ruhig aber trotzdem nicht weit von Tavernen und Einkaufen.Strände in der Nähe.Man sollte aber ein Auto haben.Der Vermieter ist total nett, hilfsbereit und sein Frühstück ( kann man, muss man nicht) für 10 Euro absolut reichhaltig.
FERMA liegt sehr günstig in der Mitte des Ostens , Sitia, Mirtos, Ierapetra..Alles nicht weit.
