Akrogiali Beach Hotel Apartments

This was one of the best hotels we have ever stayed in! Everything was absolutely perfect. Our room was beautiful, modern, spotlessly clean, and very comfortable. The food was delicious with a great variety of dishes every day, and the cocktails were fantastic.

The hotel is located right on a beautiful sandy beach with crystal-clear water. The sunbeds were very comfortable, and there were always plenty available, no matter what time of day. The swimming pool was also beautiful and exceptionally well maintained.

However, the greatest treasure of this hotel is its staff. We have never met such kind, warm, friendly, and genuinely caring people anywhere else. They made our holiday truly unforgettable.

A very special thank you to Lula, who is the heart and soul of this hotel. She is an incredible person—funny, caring, full of positive energy, and she made everyone smile every single day. She created such a wonderful atmosphere that we felt at home from the very first moment.

We would also like to thank our amazing waitress Maria, who looked after us every day with the biggest smile. She was always kind, professional, cheerful, and simply wonderful.

We also want to thank the two male waiters. They were equally fantastic, friendly, funny, and always made us feel welcome.

Every single member of the staff deserves recognition. Their kindness, professionalism, and genuine hospitality made this holiday truly special.

We highly recommend this hotel from the bottom of our hearts, and we will definitely come back!

Great friendly staff! (Lula, Maria, Yorgos, Bessem), nice room with a beautiful view on the sea and sunset, room cleaned everyday, nice swimming pool with a bar and restaurant, beautiful sandy beach.
Very near there are supermarkets, Greek tavernas, bars.

The location is very close to a beautiful beach. rooms are cleans and well maintained.

Great location. Close to supermarket, shops and eateries. Room was clean and well kept and amazing views from the sea view room. Pool and beach wasnt overcrowded like the other hotels. However Malia itself seems to be a destination for young holidaymakers and not so suitable for families as there were a lot of vaping and swearing and ATVs driving madly on the streets by these young tourists. Luckily this hotel was at the less busy end and was a lot quieter. The staff including cleaners were amazing and kind and you could see they took pride in their work. After each time rooms were cleaned the cleaners even artistically folded our pjs on our bed. Nice touch. Overall a lovely hotel.

We spent an unforgettable week at the Akrogiali Beach Hotel.
The apartment we chose was absolutely worth the money, with a breathtaking view of the pool and the sea. It was beautifully furnished with an ultra-modern design, reflected high quality. The kitchen was fully equipped with everything we needed, and the jacuzzi on the terrace maintained a constant temperature of 37°C all week. The hotel’s location is perfect. Just 100 meters to the right there is a well-stocked convenience store, while to the left you can find a breakfast café, pastry shop, and countless restaurants and cocktail bars. The old town is also reachable with a comfortable 20-minute walk, where I highly recommend the Classico restaurant. Malia’s most beautiful sandy beach is located directly in front of the hotel. Beach towels were automatically replaced every day, and the housekeeping staff were incredibly kind and thorough. The sunbeds by the beach and around the pool were very comfortable, just like the bed in our room. We often had breakfast and lunch at the pool bar, and I highly recommend the shrimp pasta, fried calamari, and gyros platter. The house white wine was also fantastic. But the hotel’s true hidden gem is the attitude of the staff and the owner. It is an exceptionally family-friendly hotel with a warm and welcoming atmosphere, where the owner, Loula, clearly puts her whole heart and positive energy into running the place. The guys working at the pool bar were constantly joking around, entertaining the guests, and making everyone smile. Lula and Bessem made us laugh many times and created such a caring and homely atmosphere. From the very moment we arrived, we were welcomed by a very kind Dutch receptionist, whom we would also like to thank for his overwhelming enthusiasm and love for the island, which quickly became contagious for us as well.
