Het verblijf ligt op een 5-tal minuten afstand van Gythion zelf. Bij aankomst werden we zeer vriendelijk ontvangen door George die ons onmiddellijk een uitgebreide uitleg over het verblijf en de kamer gaf. We kregen ook een aantal tips mee om lekker te eten in Gythion zelf, van vis- tot vleesbereidingen.
De kamer zelf is top: alles was aanwezig om ons verblijf aangenaam te maken. Wetende dat ik zelfs ziek werd tijdens de 1e van 3 dagen verblijf en toch niet ongemakkelijk was om er te verblijven, bewijst dit wel. George stelde ook alles in zijn macht om ons verblijf tijdens het moment van ziekte zo aangenaam mogelijk te maken.
Ontbijt wordt gebracht naar de kamer. Hierbij wordt rekening gehouden met allergieën en voorkeuren. Is er iets dat je echt niet mag? Dan zal je dat ook niet krijgen. Elke dag is er ook een kleine variatie in wat je precies krijgt.
Het was met spijt in het hart dat we The Olive Yard na 3 dagen moesten verlaten. Indien we deze regio ooit opnieuw zouden aandien, zouden we geen seconde twijfelen om hier nogmaals te verblijven. Aanrader!
