Great hotel, excellent location staff very friendly.

Excellent location, close to both railway and bus stations. Staff were very polite, friendly, respectful and helpful. Room (studio without balcony) was spacious, well lit, very clean and everything worked.

Das sehr komfortable große Zimmer mit Bad, die großzügige Ausstattung und sehr schöner Terrasse. Sehr sauber und alles noch neu. Nach hinten raus absolut ruhig. Ins Stadtzentrum nur wenige Gehminuten. Sehr freundliche Gastgeber.

Freundlicher Empfang durch eine Rezeption mit Menschen, rund um die Uhr besetzt. Es gab einen Raum mit einem Kaffeeautomaten. Unser Zimmer lag nach hinten raus und war ruhig.

De locatie en mooie inrichting

I loved having a private terrace. I had breakfast delivered to my room for the first morning so I could relax and plan my stay. Short walk from the bus station and the historic Faro area.

The hotel is very centrally located in a quiet street just a few minutes' walk from the bus and railway stations, harbour, cafes, restaurants, shopping etc (there's a minimart just around the corner) and about 10 minutes' walk from the Old Town. Our studio with furnished balcony was on the fourth floor with views towards the Old Town and the lagoon. The studio with kitchen and dining area was light, airy and spacious, decorated in neutral tones and with nice lighting. Everything was spotless and in very good repair, and we had daily housekeeping. The kitchen was well equipped and the bed was very comfortable. The bathroom was pristine and had an excellent shower. In the public area there was a large furnished and sheltered terrace with a small pool and free coffee. The hotel was very quiet inside and out, so we slept well. The staff were helpful and friendly, and check-in/check-out was easy. We arrived mid-morning and stored our bags to head out and about. A staff member then phoned us ahead of the official check-in time to let us know our room was ready. Our rate was great value. We hope to return to Faro and would have no hesitation in staying again at Roots.

It was well located and clean and had nice amenities

I liked the location, the fact it was a mini apartment and the facilities within the space. Staff were also helpful.
There was a very pleasant small, well-designed outdoor back space which I didnt use but looked nice for better weather,
there was a small balcony which i didnt use due to it being a bit damp/chilly when I was there but I’d recommend seeing if you could get a room to the back of the hotel overlooking the small pool area as the view onto the street isn’t that pretty.
It’s only about a 10 min taxi drive from airport and a five minute walk to the train station.
