Top Lage und auch eine wunderschöne Hotelanlage, mit Blick aufs Meer!
Alex hat sich wahnsinnig viel Mühe gegeben uns eine tolle Zeit auf Korfu zu garantieren und mit uns nicht nur seine Geheimtipps der Insel geteilt, sondern auch Tisch-Reservierungen arrangiert und uns versorgt mit Strandhandtüchern und Schirm - also Service 10 von 10!
Das Frühstück war ausreichend, nichts für Gourmets, aber für eine kleine Stärkung zum Tagesbeginn reicht es alle Male :)
Breathtaking view. Really the main reason to stay in this nice little hotel. Waking up in the morning and opening the curtains to such a wonderful sea view really made our stay. Room was clean and simple, staff was kind, and we were able to pay by card (I had read reviews saying it was cash only but this wasn't true for us)
The hotel is right on a very busy road and walking to nearby villages or beaches was uncomfortable due to the winding road with little visibility of the cars. Nothing for the owners to do about this, I think it's still a good value hotel and would stay again, but I recommend having a car or a motorbike so that you can drive those short distances instead of walking.
Breakfast is ok but coffee is not good.
Zona tranquilla e terrazza vista mare molto ampia e accogliente (vedi foto) in condivisione.
Raggiungibile anche in bus dall' aeroporto e la fermata è praticamente a due passi.

Camera moderna e confortevole.
In zona non c'è molto.
Di notte camera un po' rumorosa (non so se fosse il nostro frigo o la ventola esterna dell'aria condizionata).

-staff was helpful and friendly when I asked for information they helped .
-the locatation of the hotel was very difficult as you can’t walk on the streets and bus doesn’t always come as scheduled so u could be waiting up to an hour . It was worst at night as it’s very dark and little to no lights on the roads .(this was the most difficult thing for me personally ) .also there is a-lot of stairs and no escalator so bear this in mind if you have alot of luggage .

Nous avons passé 2 nuits au Batelo en fin de saison touristique, ce qui était sûrement parfait pour être au calme. Arrivée autonome bien organisée ( clé sur la porte de notre chambre ).
Propreté impeccable. Vue magnifique sur la baie, jolie terrasse partagée. 72 marches pour parvenir au 2e niveau mais c’est le « prix » d’un superbe panorama.
L’hôtel est tout près du centre ville - en voiture. Aucun problème pour se garer à cette saison en ville ou devant le Batelo : le long de la route.
Petite plage très pratique pour se baigner devant le Kaiser bridge ( à cette époque en tout cas ).
Accueil charmant : jeune femme souriante et généreuse en renseignements divers. Petit déjeuner très basique avec toutefois du fromage blanc de qualité.
Bref, je recommande cette jolie adresse en ce mois d’octobre pour être au calme. Attention, les restaurants ferment en cette fin de saison.
Attention : toute personne « en surcharge pondérale » risquerait de rester coincée sur les toilettes. Cela peut paraître amusant à lire mais c’est toutefois vrai : TRÈS peu de place entre le mur et la paroi de la douche ( endroit où se trouvent les toilettes ). Comme dans beaucoup d’hôtels grecs, la SDB est vraiment petite ) et l’évacuation de l’eau se fait difficilement. Laisser une petite raclette aux occupants pourrait être une bonne idée .
Pas facile d’éteindre les petites lampes murales au moment où Morphée vous emporte car l’interrupteur est caché par la tête de lit. C’est un détail certes …

Het bed was niet comfortabel, kraakte enorm en moeilijk slapen met 2. Het was ook 'doorlegen'.
We hadden pech met het weer,het regende waardoor het ontbijt buiten onder een afdakje echt onaangenaam was, het buffet stond ook in de regen en was afgeschermd met platte borden erover. Het terrasje voor ontbijt is veel te klein en niet aangelegd als een echt terras, we hadden geen plaats om onze stoel te verzetten of de tafel te verzetten tegen de regen.
Moeilijk met de trappen om met bagage boven te geraken.
Locatia aproape de mare si plina de verdeata, curatenia desavarsita din apartament. Statia de autobuz era amplasata foarte aproape de hotel.

Martina was exceptional host, very kind and helpful, and communicative. Good location as well. We were checking in at 1 AM and it was not a problem for them at all.
