Pros:

The location is good, at the heart of Ortigia. A few minutes on foot from the main sights in the old town.
The room was espacious.

Cons:

The biggest issue was the fact that the room was a ground floor "cave" without any window. No natural light, little-to-no ventation and a light but permanent cellar smell. Being on the ground floor, the room is also very noisy: you hear everyone walking pass your room door. Forget about any privacy. Moreover, the room can be accessed with a 4-digit code and you don´t get a key to lock it, so every time you are away, you have to hope that nobody saw or knew the code.

A couple of other issues:
- hot water was rather scarce, definitely not enough for two adults to shower back-to-back.
- the shower door was partially missing.
- there was supposed to be a coffee machine in our room, but there wasn´t
- online check-in, having to share a photo of your ID per WhatsApp (data-protection, who cares?)

Cons:

I booked 2 bedrooms but the apartment I stayed was 1 bedroom with the another separate by curtain instead with sharing dinning table. Other than that everything was ok.

Great location with lots of style
Pros:

Very special room, well equipped for our comfortable stay.

Our room was not really clean. The sofa bed was very noisy and not that comfortable, however it worked out for our short stay

La posizione della struttura è davvero eccellente, perfetta per visitare comodamente i dintorni e vivere appieno l’atmosfera del luogo. La camera è stata una piacevole sorpresa: arredata in stile tipico, con splendide volte e caratteristici muri in pietra che creano un ambiente accogliente e autentico.

Cons:

La camera risultava piuttosto umida e priva di finestre, rendendo l’ambiente poco arieggiato e confortevole. Inoltre, nel bagno erano presenti alcuni punti arrugginiti, segno di una manutenzione non adeguata. Nel complesso, la struttura avrebbe bisogno di maggiore attenzione e cura.

Ubicación, lo único destacable.

Cons:

Habitación en planta baja, muy ruidosoa durante la noche, nos despertamos varias veces. Sin agua caliente en la segunda ducha, siendo la primera muy breve.

Experience beautiful Sicilian boutique living!
Pros:

One of my favourite places we've stayed in Sicily because of the beauty of the apartment and the prime spot in a world-class location.

Accommodation: You get the best of both worlds. Space and freedom of an apartment but the service of a hotel with cleaners and communication from the staff. They have an office right outside the apartment, so we felt safe and cared-for. It's close to highly-rated restaurants and bars and a handy supermarket, but also in a calmer setting where you don't hear much noise. Few steps away from Ortigia's classic sites too.

Inside there's an upmarket and cosy feel with the decor and attention to detail.

The staff were friendly, attentive and very helpful. You can tell there's a personal and genuinely warm element to their professional service. Fabio helped us with our bags, checked to see how we were getting on in the apartment and also gave us great advice on downloading a local app that we had questions about.

Also, air conditioning was available in every room, along with a seating area, toiletries and good WiFi.

Even check-out was a lovely experience with another staff member giving us a personal good-bye.

This apartment is a lovely way to experience beautiful Ortigia and boutique Sicilian living!
