Very grande
Huge room
Staff in the restaurant were soo lovely . Especially the man with the wonderful accent
The driveway was a mess - huge pot holes along the way onto the property . Really needs sorting along with the chain at the beginning of the drive nearer the hotel
We had booked the basement but we were offered another room with a view on the first floor with a lovely view

Great location, good parking, friendly staff, great breakfast.
I believe the property is undergoing renovation.
The huge bathroom had no heating:-( and we are in January…
The bed and bedside tables need tightening. Extremely wobbly:-)
The location for us was perfect. The staff we're helpful and the accommodation was great.
The road into the hotel had very large potholes in.
Very nice rooms
The music from a event beating through the walls to 12 o'clock at night as they placed us above
Excellent room with great facilities, only slight negative is it could do with sprucing up a bit, a bit tired but clean and comfortable.
Convenient location, friendly staff
Squeaky floor in our room
Beautiful building, very well appointed. Lovely staff, very welcoming and attentive. Great room.
Nothing. A great place to stay.
Location was excellent for Kites Croft. Grounds are lovely. We did not have breakfast due to it not starting early enough for us.
The Bed was not very comfy
The staff were very good the food in the restaurant was superb , quite room
The room that we stayed was not finished. No towel rail no shelf for toiletries , bed wasn’t the best needs to be bigger and better quality , , furniture was shabby , towels placed on top of toilet 🤮
the grounds look lovely when you drive in and the staff are so lovely and welcoming. I do think they are what's holding up the hotel itself though. Super clean and the bed was really comfortable and there were soft towels
The decor in the room was un finished, the laminate floors were cold underfoot and there were no slippers or dressing gowns available. The room itself was cold when i came into it too. My apartment had a sofa and it was so uncomfortable - some cushions would have been helpful but if I wanted to watch TV i had to sit on it as you couldn't see it from the bed.
Food service room
I could hear music in my room I was on the first floor.
All the staff at the Orange Grove were really very nice, friendly, happy and helpful, in fact I would go as so far so say that they were extremely friendly and I felt that each one of them really valued our business and our stay. The girls in the restaurant were very busy, yet entirely happy in their work which gave a vibrant, but entirely happy vibe to breakfast. The steaks at dinner were cooked lovely and the cooked breakfasts (included in our stay) were all well above average.
The hotel itself was a lovely building, parking was immediately outside which was very helpful unloading our luggage in the rain. It was also lovely and warm inside, roaring log burner in reception, lounge was cosy and welcoming.
We were on the top floor and there was no lift! Not a big deal as we are only in our 50's, but unusual.
Our room was not outstanding. Broken and missing toilet roll holder, badly worn and marked black chairs which looked awful. No bedside lights, no chest of drawers to put clothes away. Sleeping in the bed was uncomfortable but that might be just me as I have a bad back. In truth, we did relay this to reception upon departure and they told us that the room we stayed in was one that was soon due for a completely overhaul, which made sense so I wouldn't read too much negativity into the experience of our individual room.
Looked very grand from outside, nice location, room very spacious
Big room but not cosy at all. Only one small rug. No heating in bathroom which was freezing. Oven and microwave but no oven gloves to take hot food out! Woken up by noise of deliveries at 6am. Poor lighting outside, on steps and in car park. Disappointing overall.
Location is suburban. Good breakfast.
Decor was a bit bland.
