Tiny but cozy and very well equipped apartment with the backyard hidden from the street traffic. We were welcomed warmly and felt like home. Every day we found some tasty dish from Maria in our kitchen. We stayed two nights only but we could stay much longer there. Thanks a lot!

The hosts were so welcoming and helpful, the fridge was stocked on arrival and they brought home cooked food throughout our stay as a gift. Wonderful people we will return!

This apartment boasts an excellent location in Makri Gialos, within walking distance of three different beaches, which provided lovely variety during our stay.

The landlords, Maria and Georgios, were exceptionally friendly and went above and beyond with their helpfulness and warmth towards our family.

They surprised us multiple times with thoughtful gestures and were wonderfully accommodating with children.

The apartment was regularly cleaned during our stay, including fresh bed linens, which we really appreciated.

Georgios even kindly drove us to a supermarket further away on one occasion, though honestly, the local supermarket just down the street has everything you could need for a comfortable stay.

A delightful touch was the large rosemary bush at the entrance - it creates such a welcoming, aromatic greeting every time you arrive back at the apartment.

We had a fantastic experience and would love to return again in the future. Highly recommend this property for anyone looking for a relaxing holiday in Makri Gialos!

The hotel itself is great. The room was spacious especially for a family of 3 like us and fully equipped. Public parking at the premises, always easy to find especially with Mr. George’s help. The location is absolutely perfect. Just a few steps away from the beach and the pedestrian area with all the restaurants, bars, cafes and shops which mattered a lot when you want to go out with a child and don’t want to drive.
But the best feature of this hotel is for sure it’s owners, Mr George and Mrs Maria. We booked the room late and while others hotels in makri Gualos simply denied us, these two the welcomed us with arms wide open. They had for us too many water bottles in the fridge as well as things for breakfast including local honey. They even had beers in the fridge for us. Mrs Maria also brought us fresh fruit and cake she baked herself! But it’s not just about these things that they gave us. They truly represent the Greek filoxenia which to be honest, I personally haven’t found for a while even in Crete. We never met them before yet they really made us feel like friends and even our daughter who is 3 years old was looking for them every time we got back to the room after the beach or dinner. We found the hotel by accident but because of that good luck, we never have to look for another place to stay again in Makri Gualos. Mr George, Mrs Maria, thank you for everything you have done for us and we ll definitely see you again during this summer.

Obiekt wyposażony we wszystko co potrzebne do pobytu, gruntownie sprzątany co trzy dni. Wygodne patio na poranki i wieczory. Na pływanie i plażowanie polecamy przejść się na prawo od mariny. Ale o wszystko śmiało pytać gospodarzy.

It's our 3rd year in a row visiting. The house is really cute, everything is new and clean. It's extremely close to a beautiful beach and has a nice patio in the back. The top amenity though is the hosts. Amazing people!

Yorgos and his wife were terrific. She gave me a freshly made pieces of Pastitsio. There were five or six beers in the fridge (free) and plenty of drinking water. You can't beat that!

Very good place to stay. The host were really nice and helpful with recommendations for restaurants and beaches. The apartment had everything you need. Even beer , water and homemade jam was waiting for us in the fridge

Very nice accommodation with super kind owners! We had a blast! It is just 100m from the beach. The beach is great and clean. Hopefully we will come back again soon 😊

Family business, people very friendly , great hospitality. Clean room, nice garden and good location. Breakfast and fruit were on the fridge as a welcome and also shampoo , toothpaste and toothbrush were available for us.

The apartment is furnished with love and care, and, as a cherry on top, the garden is extremely beautiful.
Communication with the hosts was super easy, they even tried to help us with some issues we had with booking activities in the area.

The house is wonderful, providing every possible comfort and all basic stuff needed (washing machine, mosquito net at every window, soap, shampoo, new toothbrushes and toothpaste, cooking stuff - salt, oil, all kind of spices from the garden - coffee, and also biscuits kindly offered) and a beautiful big terrace on the back perfect for lunch, repared from the strong cretan sun.
The location is strategic: the nearest beach is just across the street and within few minutes by car there are plenty of gorgeous coves.
A side note is due for Yiorgos and Maria: they made us feel at home and like part of their family. If you'll be lucky enough you might taste the delicious Maria's apple pie and some of her expertly made tipical cretan dishes. Thank you!!! We'll surely come back!
