Beautiful view, kind person, hammocks, kitchen and big communal area.
Good to reserve before or just contact the owner, so that they will know that you come. There is not always someone.

for most of the time I was alone in the house. the host answers messages, but don't expect him to be there.

J'ai été très bien accueilli à la casa Waka Marú, Sebastian est très disponible et attentif aux besoins de ses hôtes (organisation pour aller visiter les parcs archéologiques, faire des rando, manger des spécialités..).
L'endroit est un peu excentré de la ville ce que je trouve très bien pour pouvoir profiter du calme et de la nature. Le trajet pour aller faire des courses ou manger quelque part jusqu'à San Agustín se fait très bien (10min) !
La atención ,doña Mariana es un amor,el sitio es muy acogedor,limpio,cama es súper comoda, lo recomiendo ,si quieres descansar conectar con la naturaleza

La ubicación fue muy buena, un sitio muy tranquilo, perfecto para descansar y rodeado de naturaleza. Sebastian nos atendió muy bien. La habitación muy cómoda, y además pudimos hacer uso de la cocina para preparar nuestros desayunos.
Nice spot away from the hustle and bustle of the village! A 10 minutes walk with a lovely view will take you down to the village. There's a nice terrace with a beautiful view and the ambience in the house is chilled and quiet. The host Sebastian is attentive and the dogs/cat are sweet. Possibility for bikerental. The rooms are comfortable and clean and the kitchen is fairly equipped. I liked the beds mucho.

Just perfect! The location, the ambiance of the house up in the mountain. Not far from town, walkable and there’s everything you need nearby. Good wi-fi, great host and friendly pets made me feel at home! I ended up staying longer, I had an amazing time, thank you Sebastian!
The calm and nature around made the stay peaceful.
The rooms are not soundproofed, so we could hear the noisy neighbours.
I came to stay for a few nights and stayed for ten... I love this place. The views of the mountains are perfect, there are many birds around, it is very quiet and clean, you can make coffee or tea. Decent wifi. Nice dog. Sebastian, the manager, is very friendly and will go out of his way to help you if you need something.
Difficult to get drinking water.
The room was very comfortable and the shower was warm. The location of the house is gorgeous, up in the mountains above San Agustin
Sebastian is a nice guy but don't expect a professional service like in most homestays and guesthouses. The house could use a serious clean, garbage didn't get put away and we had sent him questions that didn't get answered. On top of that, when we wanted to pay he didn't have any change and was watching the simpsons in his room instead of taking care of his guests. We assume he is still young and needs to learn how to run a guesthouse. He is friendly though.
The wifi is wanky and the claro simcard service was also bad.
Very beautiful and calm hostel. Definitely would recommend! Spacious rooms, clean kitchen, a beautiful dog and a green garden. Very welcoming and friendly family that runs the hostel. While you're there, make sure to do the trail that goes to 'La Playita'. Only locals know about it. It's free and takes you through green coffee fields.
